There are strategic reasons why the Govenor of VA wants to start the ball rolling with the destruction of the 2nd ammendment. Whatever he is allowed to get away with will then be forced up on one state after another until we are all defenseless. President Trump can't intervene in VA's abuses of their citizens. That means it's up to We The people to raise our voices.
It's time to write, email, call, and protest in order to stand with Virginians because, truly, what they do to Virginians they will soon do to us.
Politicians use a rule of thumb; they consider one phone call or email they receive as representative of approximately 1000 voters. Contact them on multiple platforms daily (leave messages on Saturday and Sunday) until they retreat from attacking our Constitutional right to bear arms in Virginia. Ask them what they are doing to bring this gun grab farce to a halt.

Everyone who can possibly do so needs to attend the rally in Virginia on Monday. I've read fears that the venue is unsafe; I believe that's distorted information meant to deter to deter attendance. The treasonous MSM are fanning the flames, with bizarre stories of evil conservatives gunning for mayhem. Please attend, and if the protest fenced area is really as described, then gather outside the fencing. Attending the venue outside the fencing or while sitting in a traffic jam next to the venue COUNT bigley. The Deep State needs to see how many people object and are watching, because we're next on their list.

Yeah. block off an avenue close by, then march up to the fecne and demand entrance per Viginia low, and overcome the treasonous Governor's Order that is contrry to law.
There may be a not-so-obvious reason for that.

Post-pone the event until later when you can plan so as to be less predictable.
Consider an alternative: announce plans to converge at a convenient place nearby, while city hall is in session, based on some other pretext—something to do with history, or even shopping. Arrange for members to monitor social media and at some arbitrary time call for them to assemble. In other words, stage flash mobs.
Keep in mind I’m not a resident and claim no expertise. This is just one individual’s assessment. I fear you’re being set up.

As I posted earlier, the problem will not be cured on Monday.
If you have one million there demonstrating for the 2Nd Amendment the problem will not be cured.
Even if we bluff them into backing off, the problem will crop up again.
The root of the problem is that VA is being settled by persons who have no love for either the Constitution or the founding fathers. Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Patrick Henry to them are just names in some musty old book.
The only way, and it takes much more time than a Monday demonstration, is to either through the courts or through legislation (which requires electing better people), get a high court decision or new legislation that makes it very difficult to pass laws voiding constitutional rights.
It would also help if the president would get rid of the many useless bureaucracies that employ the people who have invaded Virginia. Department of Education at the top of the list as an example.
Going to Richmond on Monday is risking getting your head broken or worse, and all for nothing.

Protesting is a constitutional responsibility. If we can go, we must. Unfortunately, there probably is a setup. But we all need to be heard to be counted otherwise do we deserve to keep our freedom?

I am not a Virginian. However I am a great admirer of the state as it has existed in the past and I do spend a lot of time in the state.
So my interest is as great as if I were a resident.

I’ll be there. My favorite Richmond talk show host will be speaking on the capitol lawn. We need numbers. we need so many people that even the fake news gets scared.
VA is an open carry State. Except for Northram,(coonman’s) illegal emergency restriction of weapons from the Capitol grounds anyone can openly carry nearby. The capital grounds are not that large. Please, if you can possibly make it, we need you.
Someone offered to buy my ticket so that I could go with him. At the last minute I got fouled up with a very important property sale I had to take care of.
Trap or not, It would be an honor and privilege to die for the future freedom of my Grandchildren. The time has come and I am ready.
