Why do the Dems move with Urgency and the GOP Senators just let things flounder?

No he cannot. None of them can. If they feel they can get away with it they’d all (well, almost all) vote to toss him pronto. Those facing voters this year, however, have to do some serious thinking about how much they value being a Senator, because they will 100% be former Senators after voting to oust their own party’s President over nothing.
Now that we have gotten past the Hollywood show of pelosi and gang trailer.... The movie in it's entirety will be shown.

It’s been a year since he promised the 25th Amendment Hearings.

This is a drama, a little play, with a script.
The script has, so far, followed the Watergate plot line fairly closely.
We still need the “bombshell” (erased tapes or equivalent), and the loyal comrade conceding defeat (”it’s heartbreaking, but I must reluctantly conclude...”)
Now, I will be the first to say that unlike Watergate, there is no underlying offense or problem here. But plays all depend on willing suspension of disbelief.
Here’s my prediction: The “bombshell” is Bolton, and the “loyal comrade” in Lindsey Graham.

No, Linda can’t be trusted. He is pretending right now, it’s an election year for him. If he really wanted to help Trump and expose the democrats, all he had to do was subpoena Hunter and Joe Biden to testify about their corruption, and then subpoena every witness who Schiff talked to in secret to testify publicly with real questions from Republican. It would have all ended right quick.

When Graham gets to the bottom of the Kristine Blasey Ford letter to Di Fi during the Judge Kavanagh hearing I will begin to trust this blow hard.

Every single republican can be Trusted except for Mitt. If Mitt’s Mexican family gets into it, he would come around as well. The Trump base is too big and too strong. Any republican who votes against Trump will never be called a republican again.
