CNN has long been criticized for what many view as overtly hostile coverage of Sen. Bernie Sanders that goes back to the 2016 election where the CNN openly seemed to favor Hillary Clinton in her bid for the nomination. Yet, even for the most hardened critics of the network, yesterdays debate in Des Moines was breathtaking in its unrelentingly negative questions of Sanders followed up relative softballs to others like Sen. Amy Klobuchar. However the lowest moment of this or any debate this year occurred when CNN reporter Abby Phillips made Sanders repeat his outright denial of the allegation by Elizabeth Warren that he told her that no woman could be president and then immediately stated that Sanders did make the comment in her next question to Warren. In watching with a room filled with people who are not affiliated with Sanders, Phillips statement led to loud gasps and Sanders himself seemed dumbfounded on stage by the bias shown by the CNN reporter. Later, Warren appeared to refuse to shake the hand of Sanders.

The deep state media actually promoted D.J. Trump, at least initially, because they thought he would be the easiest GOP candidate to beat. He made (in their view) the most outrageous and least PC statements. The base (much to their chagrin) loved it and separated him from the pack.
I didn’t see it....Did anyone?
My takeaway was a bit different.
It was obvious that the question would be asked, because it had been in the press, and a rat-fight was something that might spice up a dull debate.
But what I was amazed at was how thin-skinned Warren was. She said, “The only person who has beaten an incumbent Republican any time in the last 30 years is me,” Bernie responded that he defeated an incumbent Republican in 1990... which is 30 years ago. BFD... but she got all snitty about it.
I thought Bernie handled himself very well on this, pointing out that he stood down in 2016 when it looked like she would enter the race, entering only after she declined to.
She looked thin-skinned and petty.
Bernie is ok with that.
The Berniebots will kidnap the CNN types and drag them into the streets and set them on fire.
You mean like giving her the questions in advance?
For once I agree with them, they were gawd awful, about as inspiring as cow dung and as predictable as the sun rise.
And if you watched President Trump’s rally last night, you saw where the enthusiasm is.
The democrat party is the party of old white men.
Then again, if plugs showed up in blackface and announced he was identifying as African American (and a clean, articulate one at that) CNN would tow the line.
Joe Biden has always been black, theyd say.
And anyone disagreeing would be labeled a racist.
Warren beat an incumbent Republican—in wacky left-wing Massachusetts that has an all Democratic congressional delegation.
She never mentions the state!
(The Democrats would win MA even if they nominated the North Korean dictator.)
CNN has always been the direct propaganda arm of the Democrat party establishment.
It appears they intend to thwart Bernie again.
Warren is the middle school teacher that everyone mocked by imitating her crazy pointing and annoying voice.
Sanders doesn't want to win the democRAT primary. Even if he did win the nomination, Trump would destroy him in the general. He knows that.
What Bernie wants is the same free stuff he promises his voters. He wants another house on the lake, wads of cash, esteem. He has a fear of winning. He's been a worthless, hippie loser his whole life.
He's just waiting for his big payoff from the DNC and some of Biden's windfall from his Ukraine corruption, to go away.
Bernie is a talker not a doer. He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk.
Democrats don’t trust their voters... they’ll take Bernie down if they have to suicide him...
Lest we forget Bernie on the status of women——
Several sources but here is one from Mother Jones (trying to explain it away....

So what did Bernie Sanders write and what did he say about rape?
The essay by the Vermont senator isn’t long only a page. Warning: The bit about rape comes at the very beginning, as does some not-totally-safe-for-work language:
“A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy. A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused.
“A woman enjoys intercourse with her man as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously.
“Have you ever looked at the Stag, Man, Hero, Tough magazines on the shelf of your local bookstore? Do you know why the newspaper with the articles like ‘Girl 12 raped by 14 men’ sell so well? To what in us are they appealing?”
Bkmrk
Here's one who bore him in 1946.
Perhaps she beat him, too, from time to time, so as not to spoil him.
The lieing squaw is on the warpath
based on a convenient contrived conversation.
It's time for the "Womyns Power" based on sexual preference,
rather than on ability, prior experience, or honesty.
This year it's the "Womens March" gone political,
.. didn't you follow the Klintoon political policy of 2016 ?
It's the year of the Womyn's !!
Bloomberg wasn't there, to his benefit. He makes me nervous. Two hundred billion (yes, with a 'B') at the ready.
“What Bernie wants is the same free stuff he promises his voters.”
I wholly agree.
It’s all any of these nominations ‘wannabee’s’ are doing in the race.
No one in the gaggle of laughably unqualified personalities who were thrown in our faces had one iota of a chance.
It was just another way for some dishonorable people to work the process... and stuff their pockets.
It was also more of the ‘look at me!... look at me!’ kind of BS that the MSM thrives on. THEIR personalities pathologically crave attention.
I think it’s more likely around $60 Billion, but that’s still formidable.
