Buckingham Palace is understood to be 'disappointed' at Harry and Meghan's decision to quit as senior royals amid claims that the couple did not tell the Queen before they announced their departure on social media.
They made their announcement on their official Instagram account this evening following speculation about a move.
Following their statement, the BBC's Royal Correspondent Jonny Dymond said on Twitter: 'BBC Understands that no other member of the Royal Family was consulted before Harry and Meghan issued their personal statement tonight, the Palace is understood to be "disappointed".'
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman followed up by saying that discussions with the couple on their decision were 'at an early stage', adding: 'We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through.'

I don’t really follow this, although I saw the series the Crown and it gave me a bit of a feel about how all this works.
I wonder if the couple realizes that the only thing that makes them prominent is their connections to royalty? That is the basis of their celebrity.

When Sparkles "bagged" old dimbulb Harry, she imagined that she would become THE center of it all, be even MORE "beloved" than DI, and live the life of some Disney "PRINCESS" movie or cartoon and do anything she damned pleased, with NO regard at all re what it REALLY means to be "part of the FIRM".
From what I've read today, the bovine excrement hit the rotary blades when the Palace issued a picture of the Queen, Charles, William, and George and it finally hit her, that she, Hapless Harry, and Archie were NOT "the center of the universe" and NEVER would be.
The Clintonian "FOUNDATION" has long ago been set up for the Suckasses, in Arizona, by the Clinton people they now have working for them and Clinton lawyers. Why Arizona? BECAUSE A FOUNDATION SET UP THERE ONLY REQUIRES THAT 5% OF THE MONEY TAKEN IN NEEDS TO BE SPENT ON OTHERS/CHARITY! The rest can be spent any damned way they want!
Those who are applauding this crap ( being "free of the Royals" are missing a LOT and understand NOTHING!), don't get that these two are NOT going to "get jobs" nor want to live on the two trusts that harry has and NO, Markle is NOT worth 4 million; no where near that!
Since this dumb duo met, Sparkles has DEMANDED and gotten almost everything she wanted, flaunted protocol completely, down to NOT wearing hose.
NOBODY, BUT nobody in THE FIRM was told before hand about this latest outrage! That is a GIGANTIC no-no! And yes, they have been trying to tamp this crap down for a while now, but , as is the usual way, were planning in keeping this private, before any announcement was made.
Those who claim that Charles is going to continue funding them, evidently don't know that it is Charles who has said for a long time, that he wants to "prune" the list of Royals who get Taxpayers money and special treatment! And both he and William are VERY angry, SO angry, at this, that it pales in comparison to how they feel about Prince Andrew & the Epstein scandal!
Sparkles doesn't want to follow any traditions, blew off the summer visit and blew off ALL of the Christmas stuff this past year...supposedly to spend "family time" and recharge.
So off they went to CANADA, where she hooked up with her old pal/SoHo house pimp, a few girl friends, and her mother came up from California for a day or 2 ONLY!
And she has been "merching" stuff and shilling her psuedo friends' companies/stuff from day one! The Palace even had to write to one of her "pals" to stop posting pictures of Markle, to up her business, which is NOT ALLOWED, but which they all have done from day one!
If, as they should do, the titles are taken away from these horrors, their foundation won't take in much; just as the Clintons' foundation has slumped now.
Harry's trusts ( supposedly totaling about 34 million Pounds ) won't last long, the way Sparkles spends!
Their supposed "friends" ( the Clooneys have already dropped them ) won't fund they lavish lifestyle either.
Only IF Harry put his NAZI uniform back on.

Harry was born to this, Markle went after him as though he were prey! But has refused to do what was demanded of her to do. They still want ALL pf the perks, money, and titles WITHOUT doing what needs be!
So just WHY "good for them"?
I get your point, but think of the tourist money involved when foreigners go to see the Royal palaces, etc. The Royals do bring money into the UK that way, whether it makes up for what they get I can’t say.
