But I think the Gators might be right there with them, next year. ;)

I'd love to see Bama vs UF in SEC Championship.

Wow.

I never watch college ball and don’t know enough about the whole situation to take a stance on whether they players should get paid or not.

I wonder what big college football fans think

Ditto. It’s all about the OL and DL.

I’m just curious; where does Tua’s dad work since moving from HI? I can see them renting out their home for a good sum of money. It could also be that one or both of his parents are retired government employees. If that is the case, they’d have plenty of money to live in Alabama.

Why does Archie Manning come to mind?

I honestly have no idea. They live in Alabaster, which is a rapidly growing, upper middle class suburb of Birmingham. The town recently built an incredible new school and a new football stadium which cost a little over one million dollars.

I don’t know exactly how many members of their family moved to Alabama. Their family is huge and extremely close. To be blunt, Tua’s dad rules the family with an iron fist. But they are a loving family and Tua is a lovable, sincere Christian young man. I believe that he is Coach Saban’s favorite player that he’s ever coached.

You are correct that Alabama is much less expensive than Hawaii. The Tagovailoa’s money can go a lot further here, which is an advantage.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the family moved to the city where Tua is drafted and that Tualia, Tua’s younger brother, transfers to a school near Tua. The family is that close.

I hate to see Tua leave and would hate to see Tualia transfer but, fortunately, Mac Jones has looked very strong and we have the best high school player in the country, Bryce Jones, coming in as the next “superstar” quarterback.

Tua is a special young man and he will be missed. Sorry that I couldn’t answer your question. I’ve also wondered where Tua’s dad worked.

At least he’ll be drawing a paycheck while he’s in the hospital recovering from his next major injury.

He's coming off a rookie contract. Dallas can slap a franchise label on him and keep him for another year.

No one thought the Cowboys weren’t a good team. It’s why it was such a disappointing year. If you throw out Dallas 3 highest point spread wins, they were still up +40 for the year vs -40 for Philadelphia, who finished 9-7.

There’s always this wave that insists at the beginning of every season the Cowboys are this incredibly talented team. Then they stink. Don’t know why the press is so addicted to over estimating the Cowboys, but they’re never nearly as good a team as predicted.

They’ve had many good years in the regular season but they always choke on close and important games - that goes on the GM/Coach after this long. The fact they played every playoff team very closely indicates they were very good this year. THe fact they lost all of them in very tight games tells me the coaching (and Jones) sucks.

The ARE being paid in the form of scholarships. However, this "payment" is merely to cover school expenses and I believe it to be a good trade for playing and practice time. The players have to spend a great deal of their personal time in off-field activities like visiting hospitals and such. For that I believe they should receive additional compensation. And lastly, this one burns my hide, they should ALWAYS be compensated with separate contracts any and every time outside entities (like EA Sports) using their likeness or jersey number.

He wasn’t at full speed as he was looking to throw the ball.
