Obama spent some of his young years in a private Indonesian school. The upper middle class there has a lot of Shias. He favored Shia over Sunni consistently as president. Barack never touched Al Sadr in Iraq, who still lives. Called Soleimani a friend and ally. Killed Sunni Bin Laden.
