Actress Jamie Lee Curtis is using the Thanksgiving holiday to remind voters to choose female candidates as way to transform Americas misogynist society. In an editorial for NBC News, the Knives Out star described the United States as a fundamentally sexist country characterized by a pervasive hatred of women.
Unfortunately, right now, we live in a misogynist society and a lot of men hate women, Jamie Lee Curtis said. They just do. I think that seeing a strong woman articulate her points, argue for her position, and even get angry about the disparities she faces whatever they are will cause some men to have a problem, even if women wont.
Curtis encouraged voters to cast their ballots based on gender.
I understand that there are people who disagree with trying to achieve gender parity; I know that they believe that voters should just pick a candidate based on their qualifications, the actress said.
But she added: I do think its important to vote for female candidates.
Curtis recounted how she campaigned for Hillary Clinton in her ultimately unsuccessful bid for the presidency. The True Lies star said she drove around Iowa with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).
That was my beginning in politics. Everyone needs to start somewhere; you cant affect change until you affect changes, she said.
Curtis also plugged her involvement with Fund Her, a left-wing PAC dedicated to achieving gender parity in the California Legislature.
The anti-Trump Hollywood star came under fire recently for a now-deleted tweet in which she defended Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi after he was killed

Yep and the Women running the EU want to Ban Flying and make everyone take the Train ,LOL
Would JLC endorse conservative women?
Of course not.
All these people saying there’s a place in hell for women who don’t support other women, are always pushing LIBERAL women.
None of these feminist types had anything good to say about Sarah Palin, for example.
All those people supporitng Hillary, saying it’s time for a woman president and all that, would never have supported Sarah Palin, and did not support the McCain/Palin ticket.
That’s why these people are foolish. They are not intellectually honest. If you are wanting to see women rise up in politics, if you are intellectually honest, you would want to see ALL women in high positions, not just liberal women.
It is all genitals, all the time, with the Rats.
Men aren’t allowed to be men. That’s the problem, Jamie.
Let's be specific. She looks like a liberal man which is really no man at all.
Hillary Rotten Clinton attacked Bill Clintons victims beyotch.
And just what went on between the Clintons and ABC News chief George Stephanolous AND Jeffery Epstein (who did not kill himself).
Feminazism is Marxist and anti-family and anti-America.
Vote form over substance. Wise choice. Not.
Translated: Feminists want to be the boss.
Just one more transformational liberal fascist, a supercilious prig who seeks to divide America.
She needs to go back to humping men on the Big Screen to earn her living.
Skin tone trumps genitals in leftist politics. Ask SheLiary.
Alec Baldwin and Jamie Lee Curtis Bash Palin at HuffPo
By Noel Sheppard | September 7, 2008 5:39 PM EDT
It's never a surprise when Hollywood stars hate on conservatives.
And the stars are certainly coming out to bash Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. What better place to do so than at the fabulous Huffington Post? Up first was Jamie Lee Curtis with this Wednesday posting (emphasis added, readers are warned to prepare themselves for some truly insipid nonsense):
The scariest thing I hear about the Palin nomination was that she would appeal to voters because they would be able to relate to her and she to them. I get that. There are many places where relatability is key. I am a recovering addict alcoholic and finding another group that relates to my struggles is/was key to my sobriety. When I am at school I find myself grouping with others whose kids share the same issues, interests. People tell me all the time that the More magazine article where I showed what my real body looked like in comparison to the air brushed images most women are fed, was important and made me relatable. That too is great. The problem is I may be relatable and share some of your experiences and concerns but you don't want me as president of United States.[...]
I couldn't hold my own for one minute in a debate on any issue with someone like a Barack Obama or Joseph Biden and neither can Sarah Palin. When the call comes at 3AM I want a mind who was at the top of their class, who has gravitas and a real intellect. I want a leader who is a scholar who can hold the history of civilization in his head and will read and learn from the past as he charts the future.
Curtis can change her inappropriate feelings by changing her irrational negative thoughts and beliefs. There are many techniques and methods to do this.
>>Curtis also plugged her involvement with Fund Her, a left-wing PAC dedicated to achieving gender parity in the California Legislature.
Including those pushing for group sex with their paid staff?
Gender parity is a mythic construct of progressive ideology; differences between men and women are complimentary and by design. We are not, and will never be, equal.
Nice to have two Hollywood parents, you never have to face reality and when you write an opinion (due to your most recent movie or book and at the direction of your PR team) you can be a sexist pig and no one bats an eye.
Nothing says “RESPECT” like exposing your boobs for attention, right, Ms. Hollywierd Slut?
Agree 100%...and yes, my question was rhetorical.
To paraphrase the words of a Republican religious leader...
“Judge a person on their character, not their sexual chromosome.”
Does she mean women like Sarah Palin, Sarah Sanders, Condi Rice, Marsha Blackburn, Nikki Haley....?
Big Ti.s do not always portend a high IQ.
She’s old enough that men now notice her face. Maybe that is why she is bitter.
