Hidden in Plain Sight - Did a Secret Service Agent Accidentally Shoot JFK?
Medium True Crime ^ | Oct. 8, 2017 | Bonar Menninger

early 1989, I was working as a business reporter in Washington, D.C., and interviewing a private investigator for a story about his company. At the end of our conversation, he casually mentioned he’d done some research into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

“Oh yeah?” I said, in an ironic, indifferent way. “So who killed him?” He said: “Well, I think this gunsmith in Baltimore, a guy named Howard Donahue, figured it out.” The private eye showed me a magazine article from 1977 and as I read it, my skepticism began to fade. Within a week, I was heading to nearby Towson, Maryland, to meet Donahue in person.

Donahue’s Dealey Plaza odyssey began 21 years earlier. The World War II veteran was a firearms specialist who’d testified as an expert witness in multiple shooting cases. He was also a well-known marksman. That’s why he’d been recruited to take part in a CBS News reenactment of the shooting in the spring of 1967.

The network wanted to know if Lee Harvey Oswald’s Italian military-surplus, bolt-action rifle really could have been fired three times with two hits on a moving target in less than six seconds. Donahue proved that it could. Of the 11 shooters participating in the experiment, only Donahue exceeded Oswald’s performance by scoring three hits in 4.8 seconds, well under the 5.6-second maximum....

An ultra high speed bullet fits with JFK’s skull flapping around. Hydraulic shock is from high speed. Those 7mm rounds are big and heavy, not fast.

Conducting his own investigation, Donahue eventually decided that the bullet that struck Kennedy in the head had in fact been fired by United States Secret Service Special Agent George Warren Hickey Jr. (March 24, 1923 to February 25, 2005) from an AR-15 rifle carried in the car immediately following the President’s vehicle. The series of events is as follows: After the first shot which hit the street was fired, Hickey turns completely around and acquires Oswald on the sixth floor of the school book depository building. His turned head is documented in an AP photograph by James Altgens. Hickey reaches for the AR-15 under the seat, releases the safety and begins to lift the gun. The second shot is fired by Oswald, hitting the president and Texas Governor John Connally. The president’s car and the follow-up car containing Hickey suddenly speed up. This is attested to by Secret Service agent Clint Hill. Agent Hickey, who is unstable because he is standing on the cushion of the seat, rather than the floor of the car, begins to fall back due to the acceleration of the vehicle, pulling the trigger of the AR-15. The gun is pointed toward Kennedy at that instant, and the bullet strikes him squarely in the back of the head.

In parallel, he believes Oswald’s second shot through Kennedy’s neck may have already critically wounded the president before the third shot was fired.[5]

I shouted out “Who killed the Kennedys” when after all, it was you and me.

I visited Deley Plaza and the Book Depository 6th floor window. What struck me is how all the photos make the plaza look a lot much bigger than it is. I have some rifle experience and was a pretty good shot, and looking out that window, I felt I could have made that shot too.

There were some recreations on like the Discovery channel with Marksmen trying to make the shot and those ballistic gel dummies and tried to recreate the magic bullet and the debris from the Zappurder film and descriptions of the limo at Parkland Hospital.

My conclusion is Oswald acted alone. As Gov Connally said “ a crackpot with a $15 rifle changed history”

lesse...JFK gets hit from behind (Likely, not definitely Oswald) his body goes forward, then gets hit from the front and his head explodes going backward. Who shot from the front? Was that investigated or covered up?

Agent Bill Greer was driving.

Agent Roy Kellerman next to him in front passenger seat.

Agent Clint Hill assigned to Mrs Kennedy jumped onto the car after she climbed out onto the trunk to retrieve a piece of skull.

If you have never been to Dallas and saw where Oswald was allegedly sitting, the sixth floor thing seems to be a stretch.

I was there. What I found strange - Oswald had a clear and totally unobstructed view of JFKs full torso in the convertible, traveling directly towards his position in a long, straight line on Houston St. at slow rate of speed. An ideal shot for a sniper.

But instead, Oswald waited until JFK's car had turned on to Elm, at which point, only JFK's head was exposed, and the car was rapidly accelerating away from his position.

“The CIA took out JFK. He was going after the Federal Reserve. The Rothschild,Rockefellers,Goldman Sachs et al could not allow that to happen.”

Additionally, he was going to pull us out and end Vietnam.

Nothing......But I would rather discuss the article itself rather than respond to snark comments like you made.

I think that Kennedy had dirt on Hillary Rodham and was about to refer her to the DOJ for prosecution....

Sorry, but I’m one of these nutjobs that believes that LHO did indeed murder President Kennedy.

Most of these conspiracy theories are utterly ridiculous with no bases in fact!

We will probably never know who assassinated JFK, but in the immediate aftermath of his death the media had no problem pointing the finger at “right-wingers”.

The Left doesn't want to admit that the Commie did it. They were so convinced it just had to be a right-winger. Cronkite was basically insinuating it from the get-go.

Oswald shot better than 300 million Americans.

He was a one man war machine.

Not.

But the FBI, CIA. DOJ would not lie.
