"Check out the insightful article at the link. Ignore the odd language usage. I assume it’s written by a non-native speaker of English. That doesn’t detract from the message it contains."

"h/t anon over the transom. :-)"

FSB Intrusion Alert!

Beware of things "tossed over the transom by anons" -- they may be wrapped around a grenade!

You were correct in sensing the ESL construction of the Trump article.

What you missed is that ORIENTALREVIEW.ORG is Moscow-based -- and has a very strong KGB/FSB ambiance!

FYI, for tihose who are attuned to such things, it didn't take long to ID the Russia-slant in the content. And, then, the underlying claims grew evermore absurd. I can't believe that none of the usually-skeptical FReeQs here picked up on this obvous Russian-propaganda paragraph:

Mighty Russia

Since Peter the Great, the whole history of Russia is a permanent demonstration of its will to maintain its political and economical independence from international banks and imperialism, pushing this great nation to help many smaller countries fighting to keep their own independence. Twice Russia helped the United States against the British/Rothschild Empire; first by openly supporting them in the Independence War, and again in the Civil War, when Rothschild’s were funding the Confederates to politically break down the nation to bring it back in the British colonial Empire’s coop. Russia also destroyed Napoleon and the Nazis, whom were both funded by international banks as tools to crush economically independent nations. Independence is in their DNA. After almost a decade of Western oligarchy taking over Russia’s economy after the fall of USSR in 1991, Putin took power and drained the Russian swamp.

BOTTOM LINE: You've been "had" by a Russian agent -- trolling in "anon-land"!

There are very sound reasons that Q instructed us to QUESTION Everything!

Take care, out there -- the "Swamp" isn't the only place crawling with snakes!

Good catch.

I still find the original piece interesting. Awareness of its probable source doesn’t negate the possibility that it contains interesting ideas or even facts. I’m only slightly more suspicious of this than I am of domestically produced writing. And actually, it’s probably more trustworthy than anything put out by the MSM or the Democrats.

YES—The obvious Russia slant was quite noticeable. So is the LSM slant, it doesn’t mean it’s useless—always good to know what the enemy is pushing.

Analysis by other countries is often quite interesting, as they can often say things our media won’t.

Thank you TXnMA for the perspective you have regarding the link to the article which generally posted at the behest of a transom anon.

https://orientalreview.org/2019/11/15/about-trump/

I would point out that I have posted things from over the transom by trusted FReeQs. I know how careful generally is, and I also assume she would not have posted just any article because a person unknown to her sent it to her.

Having said that I do appreciate your review and concerns about the source and points of said article in your post 1072.
