Very “special”.
Very special indeed.
My sister is meeting public school students today at the local cemetery to teach them why we observe Veterans Day. She bought a "Proud Daughter of a World War II Veteran" sweatshirt to wear for the occasion. Both our parents served in the Army during World War II. My sister and brother always put a beautiful patriotic saddle on their graves. (I live 400 miles away, but they send me pictures.)
Dad and Mom taught us to respect the flag and love our country.

Horrible comments on Twitter regarding PRESIDENT TRUMP attending the 100th NYC Veterans Parade. Ingrates, all of them.
If it wasn’t for PRESIDENT TRUMP there wouldn’t be a parade. He saved it like he did the ice park. The DONALD made NYC a better place. DEMS ruined it.

Most of our parents are part of the “Greatest Generation” who really loved and scarified for our country.
They passed this down to us and I am so thankful.

I got a load of clothes in too. So much to do to get ready to leave on Wednesday but I am so looking forward to having most of my family together for the big occasion.
My son, the joker, sent me this site on FB, I think he is trying to hint that I need to back off and let him grow up. LOL
