I bought this with the insistence of a SIL.....we actually use it EVERY DAY! We heat most anything on it and it doesn't get icky as when heating in the microwave. Put a left over steak with butter on top and heat...its even better than the day before at the restaurant. The use is unlimited. Garlic bread/grilled cheese/many things instead of heating up ones oven.

how about tips in general ?

- add a couple of marshmallows to a bag of brown sugar to keep the sugar soft.
- ice cubes crystal clear, kettle of boiled water to cool slightly and use to fill your ice cube trays.
- Use a large muffin tin to cook stuffed peppers in the oven it will help keep them upright.
- To prevent potatoes budding, add an apple in the bag.
- to make the shells incredibly easy to peel off, teaspoon of baking soda to water for hard-boiling eggs
- eggs good vs bad ? good eggs will sink to bottom in bowl of water. bad will float
- To prevent your eyes watering while chopping onions, wipe the chopping board with white vinegar.
- freeze grapes and use to chill white wine without watering it down.

I’ve tried ‘em all except the grapes. The eggshells still seem hard to peel. The rest are ok.
