On Thursday at her weekly press briefing, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said the American people were “not going to decide” if President Donald Trump should be impeached.
When asked about the impeachment timeline, Pelosi said, “I keep saying to people, impeachment is about the truth and the Constitution of the United States. Any other issues that you have, disapproving of the way the president has dealt with Syria, whatever the subject is, reluctance, the cowardice to do something about gun violence, the cruelty of not wanting to help our Dreamers and transgender people, the denial about the climate crisis that we face, the list goes on, that’s about the election. That has nothing to do with what is happening in terms of our oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution and the facts that might support. And we don’t know where this path will take us, it could take us down further path but the two are completely separate.”
A reporter asked, “At what point might you say let’s just let the voters decide.”
Pelosi said, “The voters are not going to decide whether we honor our oath of office. They already decided that in the last election.”

Nancy, you wouldn’t know “honor” if you fell over it. If you did, you wouldn’t be a Democrat supporting Madam Benghazi.
Nancy, there are other boxes used by Americans other than just the ballot box...just ask the Redcoats.
Nancy knows that there is NO actual impeachable offense that Trump committed, and that the Dems are making this $hit up as they go along (that’s why it is all behind closed doors). This entire thing is a process of some kind, but it is NOT an impeachment process without a vote of the House to make it so. Thus, all of the subpoenas are without force and effect.
No longer the “Government of the People” ???

I think she wants to hold the impeachment card until after the 2020 election because she knows that Trump is going to win. They started all this election nonsense way too early. It’s more than a year away. I don’t think she can do it.
I suppose Schitt can compose a parody of all the testimony....which is what is being "leaked" at present.

Well I certainly know what it means. I’m going to have me a nice big slice of impeachment pie and vanilla ice-cream...
(am hoping the ice cream flavor isn’t considered racist).
We and they know that they have no grounds to impeach him on.
We know their hatred for him. Those of us in the know are aware that the Democrats, their propaganda arm, the media, and Bush League Republicans would rather die and go to hell than to see him get a second term.
So with the prospect of impeachment growing dimmer every day, that bring up voting him out of Office. Judging by the crowds he draws, that should prove difficult, if not impossible. So if plans A,and/or B, don't work, that only leaves Plan C.
I would not be surprised at anything the Democrats try. Whether it is successful or not remains yet to be seen.
Nancy P and her band of evil,criminal Democrats underestimate the groundswell of seething anger directed at them for their attempts to deny the civil rights of a very large segment of our population who voted for Donald Trump. He was elected fair and square. He has done nothing wrong. Hell is going to rain down on their heads if they impeach Donald Trump.

Why doesn’t a loyal h of r republican seek out a sympathetic judge to have them issue an injunction against the House of Representatives for having secret meetings regarding accusations against the president and force this phony constitutional crisis into the Supreme Court.
If impeachment is about Truth then someone move nancy the hell out of the way. She would not know TRUTH if it bit her in the ass.

I’m sure the framers of the Constitution in Philadelphia were thinking of “not wanting to help transgendered people” as a prime example of what would qualify as a high crime and misdemeanor for impeachment.
