I still have my long playing records. A couple of hers. Going to read.. might be back later. I bought a couple of Bamboo upholstered shoe seats for the cat porch. Now the cats can sit on them and look out the front windows. I'm having a heck of a time putting them together. I'm a pro putting things together...this on the other hand isn't working out. A first for me. Hopefully tomorrow with a fresh mind I can figure the assembly out.

It was so filling!
For lunch today we picked up a couple of sammiches at McD and headed out to the lake at the forestry. Absolutely breathtaking as the sun actually sparkled across the water. The sky was so blue, leaves are just beginning to turn and the winter geese are still dotting the shore.
Life is good.
Came home. Worked in the yard and then headed to the kitchen. Perfect temperature for it all.

Back during that time I remember reading an article how Saddam had been letting terrorists train in remote areas of Iraq. The article had proof with maps, etc.

For that reason alone I thought the U.S. was justified to enter Iraq and do something about it. I wish I had archived the article at the time. Very compelling evidence of Saddam aiding terrorists.

Also, there was the evidence of Saddam using chemical weapons on his own people. That reminded me of Hitler’s tactics though the number of deaths were not nearly as great. But I kept thinking, the U.S. did go and stop the murderous Hitler, thankfully. And surely someone needs to go and stop Saddam also.

Granted, the Iraq War should have been handled better (more like WWII with a mission to win). But regardless, with Saddam killing his own people and letting terrorists train in remote areas of his country, he should have been stopped just as Hitler was stopped.

P and I talked about her for some time today. She was a favorite of both of us. Her death was so unnecessary. Today we know so much about the disease, mainly because her death was such a shock to us all. She truly has been a life saving angel to many young girls.
Otoh my weight or lack of weight was a problem. Weight was only 84 when I divorced. 115 when I delivered my son. Just couldn’t gain weight. I ate but no weight. My parents fed me extra malt tablet and lots of carbs as a child. Nothing worked.
The Barn project helped me. I’ve actually doubled my weight. Lol.
