Democrats and Republicans demonstrated starkly different reactions following the release of the unredacted transcript of President Trump’s conversation with the president of Ukraine. Many congressional Democrats publicly declared it the “smoking gun,” while Republicans dismissed their cries by noting the absence of quid pro quo or generally lawless behavior. However, Democrats are striking a drastically different tone privately, as several reports indicate. The far-left flank of the Democrat caucus forced House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to concede and announce a formal impeachment inquiry against the president on Tuesday. She made the announcement prior to the release of the transcript, which detailed the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This gives dems way too much credit; They are worse than small children and don't seem to grasp broader implications.

That colossal anal orifice, Schiff, is on the news now speaking to a House Intelligent Meeting concerning the lying whistle-blower.
I really can’t stand to even look at Schiff; let alone hear him spew garbage out of that ugly round head with evil looking beady eyes. If anyone had the touch of Satan in him; it’s Adam Schiff.
They know that President Trump will be re-elected in 2020 by a landslide, and they have no recourse now but to impeach him if they can. At least, I hope they will accept that as their last recourse!
Why are they so filled with hate and anger?
It is their nature to seethe with anger and be full of hatred;
However this is the cause of the rage that has thown them into the depths of madness:
President Trump, an outsider, thwarted their evil plans to seize control of the USA, with all its wealth and power, and remold it to their own evil, self-serving purposes!
This is what their rage, their fury, their insanity, their hysterics--and their 3-year long tantrum is all about!
It is the panic of the evil when they are threatened by an honest man and the Light of Truth!
What if...
Let us say they put this on a fast track and in a matter of months everything goes their way and President Trump is removed from office...
Unless they add the provision that he can not ever hold any public office Trump can continue to run as a candidate for the office of President.
So come November he is elected President... again.
Having said that, I doubt the house will ever vote for impeachment. This albatross is not around President Trump’s neck but the Democrats.
President Trump’s popularity is increasing and his fund raising is increasing. The longer this fraud goes on the worse it will be for the Democrats.
What will our alternative be if Trump is thrown out? We’ll be back to RINOS and rats in control. Short of an actual revolution nothing will really happen to those who did this.
I bet China is quite happy today.

These are not intelligent people. The only way they'll panic is if they lose their election and have to fend for themselves.

Why are the Democrats pushing this impeachment business?
A. Patriotism
B. Justice
C. Politics
D. Money
They’re saving face for now and continuing on like everything is fine and impeachment is imminent but I do think they know this issue isn’t going to last long as the WH is pushing everything out to the public pretty fast. The real headache will be when the zombie base realize that the Dems are backtracking from ‘real’ impeachment and just doing the same ‘pretend’ shtick they have been doing for the last month or so. Pelosi foolishly made it look like ‘this is it’ when it’s actually not
Two possibilities: payback for Clinton's impeachment 20 years ago and a detraction from Trump's achievements. A more important one: maybe Barr and Judicial Watch are hitting paydirt on Clinton, Biden, and Obama corruption. The Ukrainian ploy may be an attempt to preempt their enemies.
As I keep saying - bring it Donkeys!

How long does a news cycle last these days?
In a month everyone will be focused on another media circus.
Some of us paranoid conspiracy theorists are predicting another big school shooting will suck all the oxygen out of the mass media room—and the Dems will be back on their gun-grabbing hysteria.
Pelosi may be playing the long game....
Tired of fighting the nut job left wing of the party, give them what they want... Head into the election and get SLAUGHTERED up and down the ballot, just like 1972, and from the ashes arise with the far left wing’s power lost and move the part away from the edge.
Not a bad long game, though it will cause the Dems to get destroyed in the short term...
I don’t knwo if Pelosi is forward thinking enough for that or not.. but no other calculus makes any sense on this... Pelosi isn’t stupid, she knows Impeachment is political suicide in the short term.
The thought had occurred to me, as well. I've always tried to remember that especially in Washington D.C, things are never as they seem.
