Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.

It’s a pattern:
Politician leaves office unexpectedly or due to term limits.
Billionaires fill their pockets for about 5-6 years-—speeches, book deals, sweet real estate or other financial transactions, securities (Gore got early taste of Google) etc.
Then they can run for President. (They will be financially independent enough to be basically unemployed for 2-3 years with highly uncertain outcome.)

I am wondering if Trump said/did things that made it clear to R traitors/wrongdoers in the House that he would not be supporting them; otherwise why did so many “retire”, some before their terms were up (IIRC)? Surprising so many left. I think a lot of people assumed that they “got the message”.
