Infant twins found dead, 'foaming at the mouth,’ in back of car: police

Twin infants were found dead in the back of a car in the Bronx on Friday after their father told police he'd forgotten them while he went to work, officials said.

Authorities found the 7-month-old twins -- a boy and a girl -- foaming at the mouth around 4 p.m., according to police.

The 37-year-old father, who has not been publicly identified, is a social worker who said he unintentionally left his kids in the vehicle at 8 a.m. before going to work at a nearby VA hospital, police said.

The man allegedly told police he only realized his kids were in the car after he left work and started driving, the New York Post reported. Police said someone nearby called police after hearing the man screaming on the side of the road.

So you think if one of the twin’s car seats had been in the front seat, he would have still forgotten them?

Yep.

So if this was deliberate, what exactly would his excuse have been if one of the twins was in the front seat?

The twins weren’t in the front seat, because it was deliberate. Putting them in the back seat gave him cover.

You’re proving my point. Remember this started being about airbags.

You are not supposed to put a child’s car seat in the front because if the airbag goes off, the child can be badly injured/killed from the impact, even in the car seat. Now in some vehicles you can turn off the airbag, but not all.

I contend that’s one of the reasons we keep hearing about this happening. Yes, some of this is deliberate, but not all.

And in many vehicles, you can not see the car seats from the rear view mirror without readjusting back and forth every time. My daughter’s Lexus for example.

Couple that with dark tinted rear windows and harried parents, unfortunately it’s going to happen occasionally.

I still say it was intentional.

You simply don’t forget your infants, especially twins.

So what about cases in the past where the marriage broke up and then the father committed suicide, those were intentional too?

There are also anecdotal cases where the parent got to work before realizing he forgot to drop off his child at the daycare, and turned around and went back. Think they did this ‘deliberately’ too.

As I said, this can happen when this parent is not the one who normally drops the child off. It’s not in his routine, he’s got a big presentation, interview, on his mind.

Every single one of these cases are not intentional.

Agreed - it is good news. Here’s a short article about a study that showed more millennial men want wives who’ll stay home with the children:

Oh, that’s so sad. I cannot even imagine the sorrow.

Yes, life would be unbearable after the loss of a child.

Yeah, put something IMPORTANT in back, like your damn cell phone.
Look, I can't enforce it( and I wish I could) but the way to end this is to put said 'caregivers' in the same, locked, car-in the same blistering heat, surround it with armed police and let them ROAST like their kid did! Remind said cooking POS that 'this is what you did your kid'. Let'em scream till dead.
People like this are too evil or stupid to breed and live.

My advice. Leave your work badge, assuming you have one, in the back seat with the child (children).
