I just finished watching the ceremony of the giving of this D-Day flag at the White House.

The Dutch donor had a wonderful speech.

This flag cost $500,000 at auction, and the man who bought it gave to us for free, as a reminder of the great cost American soldiers paid to liberate his homeland during WW2.

Very moving ceremony indeed.

I debated on posting Julian's theory...but who am I to judge another's brain cells..lol I think the drops have been configured in a form that's not common or easily understood as the well used norm. I'm beginning to think we have been pushed out of our comfort zones for a reason. If I knew why I'd be thrilled to share with you-all why.

My guess being...people of differing views of life are now united with their own gift.... they must share to competed the whole. In other words..every body has a different piece to the puzzle and everyone is needed to unlock the knowledge(couldn't think of a better word..someone here probably could better explain)

To this day, Dutch families tend the graves of Americans who died to liberate them.

Responsibility for tending to a particular soldier’s grave is passed down to each succeeding generation of the same family.
