A lot of bad things are happening in Puerto Rico. The Governor is under siege, the Mayor of San Juan is a despicable and incompetent person who I wouldnt trust under any circumstance, and the United States Congress foolishly gave 92 Billion Dollars for hurricane relief, much....
—————————————.
....of which was squandered away or wasted, never to be seen again. This is more than twice the amount given to Texas & Florida combined. I know the people of Puerto Rico well, and they are great. But much of their leadership is corrupt, & robbing the U.S. Government blind!

Prayers are helping. Stopped at local DR branch and got two of the issues taken care of. Also asked staff to relay to DR how unhappy I was with yesterday’s service.

Most of the MS-13 Gang members indictedand & arrested in L.A. were illegal aliens, 19 of 22. They are said to have killed many people in the most brutal fashion. They should never have been allowed in our Country for so long, 10 years. We have arrested and deported thousands.....
....of gang members, in particular MS-13. Ice and Border Patrol are doing a great job!
Sorry, gub, didn’t see you had posted this Trump tweet already.
Aka “go cluck yourself mood!” BArock. BArock!
The House condemned Pres. Trump.
The House held two Cabinet Officers in criminal contempt.
Maybe it’s time for Pres. Trump to start issuing Presidential Proclamation(s) condemning the RATs’ behavior.
Unless authorized by Congress, a president’s proclamation does not have the force of law.
Thanks for posting those awesome rally pics!!

House Democrats appeared unified in their votes this week but I’ve spent the day talking to a bunch of them and many are extremely frustrated. All agree POTUS’s tweets needed to be condemned; they spoke under condition of anonymity so they could be candid. (Thread)
-———————————————.
2/ “The president won this one,” said House Dem 1 of the Trump v Squad (AOC, Tlaib, Omar & Pressley) showdown. “What the president has done is politically brilliant. Pelosi was trying to marginalize these folks and the president has now identified the entire party with them.”
——————————————.
3/ Another issue: what are Dems focused on? Is it what will help the class of 2018 (largely more moderate than the Squad) get reelected?
Dem Rep 2: “The president’s words and actions speak for themselves. We need to focus on the issues that got them here: jobs, health care...”
—————————————.
4/ “...instead of the issues the president brings up deliberately. Anything that takes away from bread and butter issues is playing into his hands.”
————————————.
5/ Other House Democrats are conflicted about having to defend the Squad given things they’ve said and done. House Dems cited: talk of supporting challengers to incumbent Dems in primaries, AOC’s use of the term “concentration camps,” anti-Semitic comments by Tlaib & Omar.
-———————————.
6/ This perceived selective outrage rankled some Dems.
“Everybody was completely outraged by what the president said,” said House Dem 3, “and everybody thought it was appropriate to criticize him...
-——————————.
7/ “...but this was the *first* time the House has taken action to criticize him in any way, We couldn’t even bring ourselves to have a resolution exclusively condemning anti-Semitism uttered by one of those members” — Omar — “but we leapt to their defense here.”
———————————.
8/ A few House Dems noted that Omar and Tlaib just introduced a resolution affirming the right of Americans to boycott, perceived as an expression of support for the anti-Israel BDS (boycott, divest, and sanction) movement that most House Dems oppose.
-———————————.
9/ “So we’ll hear a tirade of attacks on Israel from the same group,” said House Dem 3. “Hopefully they won’t be anti Semitic.”
House Dem 4 also brought up that bill coming “from someone with a history of anti-Semitism” — Omar — “So yeah its challenging.”
-————————————.
10/ House Dem 4 recalls that “less than 2 weeks ago when members of our caucus were trying to support funds for children at the border,” the Squad was arguing that “we’re pro-putting kids in cages, we’re against human rights. So theres frustration.”
——————————————.
11/ Others noted that this week the House Democratic Caucus stood by a group that is not perceived as standing by them.
“I can’t tell you the number of Members who are angry and annoyed about them criticizing us,” said House Dem 3.
———————————————.
12/ AOC, in particular “gives her chief of staff license to get candidates to run against her colleagues and to go after them on social media. It makes people’s skin crawl,” said House Dem 3.
House Dem 4 summed it up: “We were there for them; they should stop attacking us.”

DAVID STEINBERG: TYING UP LOOSE THREADS IN THE CURIOUS CASE
POSTED ON JULY 18, 2019 BY SCOTT JOHNSON
FTA:
In four intensely reported investigative columns here (August 13, 2018), here (October 23, 2018), here (October 30, 2018), and here (November 5, 2018), David Steinberg has explored the evidence suggesting that Ilhan Omar entered into a sham marriage with her brother in 2009. This is his fifth. He titles it Meet Leila Elmi: The Missing Link Showing Ilhan Omar Married Her Brother. Drawing on his research, interviews, and social media evidence he makes the case that Omar has engaged in a variety of fraudulent activities and willful misrepresentations related to her marital arrangements. He writes:
I’m sure having the convention in Charlotte is racist somehow, as well. Thank goodness we have the dems to explain all of our hate to us!
GOP Border Report: Data Reveals Majority Of Migrant Children Have Been Reunited
By Sara Carter -July 18, 2019
FTA:
The House Oversight Committees ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan released an explosive report Thursday revealing that the data the committee has obtained from Health and Human Services shows that 95 percent of illegal immigrant children separated at the border have been reunited with parents or sponsors. Those numbers are based on 1619 children out of 2648 total.

Feds: Man charged with killing 3 had been deported twice
FTA:
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) Authorities say a Guatemalan man charged with killing an Iowa woman and her two children had been deported twice from the U.S. and is believed to be in the country illegally.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Wednesday night that 31-year-old Marvin Oswaldo Escobar-Orellana gave Des Moines police a false name, Marvin Esquivel-Lopez.
Shawn Neudauer, an ICE spokesman, says Escobar-Orellana was deported in 2010 and again in 2011. In 2010, he was convicted of illegal entry into the U.S.
