The miners discovered a nearly complete Tylosaurus. This was the alpha predator of the Cretaceous era Inland Sea that covered the Canadian and US Great Plains. This member of the mosasaur family grew up to 50 feet. It starred in the "Jurassic World" movie.

The size of the mosasaur in the Jurassic Park film was greatly exaggerated.
