2020 hopeful Beto O'Rourke has claimed that migrants have "no choice" but to come to the United States because of American "excesses" causing climate change in their country. O'Rourke, who is losing traction within the 2020 Democratic primary, made the remarks while visiting the Homestead Temporary Shelter for Unaccompanied Children in Florida on Wednesday.

I miss the old days. Back then Democrats (JFK, Scoop Jackson, Tip O’Neill, etc.) said things that made sense. I might not have agreed with them, but at least they said things that made sense.
As best as I can eyeball it, the Mexico/US border is comparable latitudinally to that of Pakistan/Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia/Iraq and/orYemen.
Therefore, where are the stories of the border problems in those countries?
