The power is out in NYC from 42nd St. to 71 st street.

And from the West Side Highway over to Fifth Avenue.

A big square.

No word on when power will be restored—awaiting Con Ed press conference.

Biggest issue is people stuck in elevators. Firemen from surrounding areas being brought in to help the NYFD go building to building to help those who are trapped.

This power outage is but a small section of one borough, Manhattan, in one city, NYC.

FoxNews is treating this as if the entire state of NY is out.

Neighbor has been letting off. Yuge fireworks for an hour and a half plus! Rediculous! They are not wealthy people and the ones booming are certainly NOT cheap!
Hopefully it is over. Now to find Gracie Mae. She took off with the first boom poor girl. She and TIgger were close. She had stayed right with her all day Got the hole half dug. It’s hot and the clay is dense Not an easy dig !

Millennial Choirs and Orchestras

As you may have heard, tonight’s final performance at Carnegie Hall was cancelled due to a major power outage which affected much of Manhattan. But MCO made the best of it and gave an impromptu performance on the street.

Okay WE ALL CAN SAY WHO CARES! This is OUR NEWS Today! JLO's Concert Interrupted! I think That's why I watch Re-runs of Death Wish with Charles Bronson and Clint East Eastwood as Dirty Harry and when when I'm feeling in a softer mood ..All the God Father movies followed with Goodfellows! :) LOL!
