#BREAKING: A massive power outage has impacted parts of Manhattan. It has disrupted subway service and traffic lights.

JUST IN: The power outage affecting parts of midtown Manhattan in New York City is "due to a manhole fire earlier this evening," according to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Madison Square Garden power went out and the flood lights came on, Bryan Llenas was celebrating his birthday with a Jennifer Lopez concert, after only 3 songs had to evacuate building.

Because all lines are sharing the local track on the West Side and East Side, trains are running slower than you might expect.

The 1/2/3 lines are running on the local track between 96 St and Chambers St, but are bypassing 59 St-Columbus Circle.

The 4/5/6 lines are running on the local track between 125 St and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. (1/2)

The @LIRR is accommodating MetroCard customers at no additional charge at Flushing, Willets Point, Woodside, Penn Station, Jamaica, Kew Gardens and Forest Hills.

There is limited service on the numbered lines: the 1/2/3 on the West Side; the 4/5/6 on the East Side; and the 7 between Manhattan and Queens.

However, *our entire system is affected* by the Con Edison outage.

In Manhattan, the bus is your best bet.

Update: The Con Edison power outage is affecting our signals on the Sixth Avenue (D/F/M) and Eighth Avenue (A/C/E) lines.

Four stations are without power and are closed to the public: 59 St-Columbus Circle, 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr, 34 St-Hudson Yards, and 5 Av/53 St. (1/2)
