Gee, I can't imagine why.
Guess the public has tired of the seemingly endless dem/media manufactured rape hoaxes.
Then, of course, there was that absurd, eyebrow raising Anderson Cooper interview and the revelation that she got her entire story from an episode of Law & Order Special Victims Unit that featured Kathy Griffin.
Article has almost 2,000 replies and almost every single poster thinks the woman is a liar and a loon.

And yet, Mitt Romney takes it seriously, and wants a complete investigation. Go figure.

Pres Trump should say “Of course the democrats have invented another scandal, it’s almost election time, and they have nothing legitimate to run on, so they falsely try to accuse me of this horrible disgusting thing, because they themselves have no morals and no moral compass to guide their actions. Lying and making false accusations in order to win is the only way they can think to win elections- but it’s not going to work- “

The premise of the article is that Trump did it, but his supporters don’t care they already knew he’s a rapist.

Trumps sexual past:
1. He was a player, not monogamous, liked the of age ladies.
2. He didnt rape people.
3. Thats it.

From the article...."Essentially, you're either for him or against him, and if you're for him, it doesn't matter what he's done," said Larry Sabato, who directs the University of Virginia's Center for Politics. "It really is remarkable. He simply is exempt from the rules everyone else must obey."
Yes...that was the most irritating thing about the Obama years.

One thing about it, lame accusations like this ultimately immunize Trump against future similar bullshit due to “boy cried wolf” syndrome ...

It didn’t land with a thud...more of a splat. Like a fish hitting the deck. The media is enjoying it flopping around instead of tossing it back or throwing it in the cooler.

The more effectively a conservative is likely to be once elected, the higher the chance that some paid activist will appear out of nowhere to sling sexual misconduct allegations against him. Unfortunately, it works—more than one liberal has won an election because the false accusation suppressed the vote just enough.
We can hope that this dud means that people are catching on to the tactic and it is losing its effectiveness. But I am afraid that the only reason it fell flat is that we all know who Trump is, we have known him for decades. Time will tell.
