“it just those wacky Christians who believe this? “
That’s the idea of this hoax. Smear conservatives as lunatics. Equate not buying global warming or other leftist proposed Eco disasters with flat earth.
I read further and see you are quite insane or else one of the hoaxers.

Whether or not the FEIC cruise will rely on GPS or deploy an entirely new flat-Earth-based navigation system for finding the end of the world, remains to be seen. All you have to do is record the orders to the helm.
Keep the land to port and if you always steer to starboard you're going in a circle.
If you keep the land to port and you always steer to port you get a different circle.

Yes, but the latter circle keeps running aground.

Yes, but the latter circle keeps running aground. Not if you maintain your distance.
It's a pretty high ice wall!

You will definitely pick that up on radar and if you run into that you shouldn't be captaining a ship.

What? Brought back into view with a camera? How exactly does a camera do that?
To: Sioux-san
However, NASA could shut it all down if they had the proof everyone thinks they do. How about some actual photos of the spherical earth if we actually did go to the moon 240,000 miles away or Mars at 35 million miles.
Of course NASA cant reveal this stuff otherwise the real secret about the moon could get out. Flat earthers know the truth about the moon. We didnt land on it because the moon is made of cheese. The moon was once a giant cheeseball sitting in the middle of the flat earth.

Hey, it makes just as much sense as Flat Earth.

That's what I always want to know when they talk about the edge of the universe.
To: itsahoot
“No they haven’t...”
Yes, they have. There are countless videos on youtube devoted to addressing every point they bring up, both by scientists and laymen.
“Show me any place in the universe that an object produces a shadow smaller than itself”
Sure. Go measure the length of your shadow ten minutes before or after noon, then compare it to your height. It will be smaller.

Re: digital photography and photos of the Earth, there actually are real photographs of the Earth from the moon, since they did take film cameras with them on Apollo missions.
Here's a nice photo of the clearly spherical Earth taken during Apollo 8:

Really, to prove their Flat Earth hypothesis, all they need to do is start sailing east or west along the Equator without turning. If they eventually hit the artic or antartic, then their hypothesis is proved. If they stay on the equator and never reach the arctic, then their hypothesis is disproven.

Not sure about the edge of the universe, but I hear there is a very nice restaurant at the end of the universe.

Sure. Go measure the length of your shadow ten minutes before or after noon, then compare it to your height. It will be smaller. Shorter not smaller. Try that with a ball and a single light source.

What? Brought back into view with a camera? How exactly does a camera do that? Go look at them and see for yourself, then you will know. Of course it may be that the light bends over the horizon by gravity and all you need is cool telescope to see forever.
Ever look down a railroad track? We are limited on what we see by many factors but perspective is a big one.

“Shorter not smaller”
Shorter IS smaller, just smaller in only one dimension. Unless your shadow is getting wider at the same time it is getting shorter, then shorter=smaller.
“Try that with a ball and a single light source.”
Why? I’ve already given you the example that you asked for. You just want to move the goalposts now.
