I have a prayer request.
My granddaughter, artistically talented, super smart, homeschooled, is having vision issues in one eye. Her vision in that one eye has gotten progressively worse over the last year and a half or so, and last week had a scan and there are dark areas in the scan around her optic nerve. The doc said that he has never seen this before in someone as young as she is (15) and without an autoimmune disease or diabetes. Not diabetic. Ruled out an infectious disease for the time being. She will see a nuerologic opthamologist next week for more scans. Please pray for her. Thank you.
I will check back later - have a lot of phone calls to make on another matter and an appointment this afternoon. Thanks in advance for praying.

That’s interesting. I knew that issues with teeth caused problems in many other parts of the body, but it never occurred to me that the eyes could be impacted. Makes sense.
Read Jesus’ parable about the rich man Lazarus. Luke 16:19. There is an impenetrable gulf or divide that separates even communications between the living and the “dead”, or else Lazarus could have sent a warning to his brothers. The saints who are asleep in Christ cannot hear us or intercede for us,
May the Lord reveal to the doctors what is causing this, and may He inspire them on how to cure it completely.
The facial danger triangle area extends under the brain to the back of the throat, and provides a fairly direct route for infection of neural tissues such as olfactory and optic nerves, which lead to the brain. Surface infections of the facial skin (pimples) can migrate to other areas. It’s also a common route (nasal) for amoebic infections, instigated by a swim in freshwater during the warm summer months.

Thank you - she has regular dental care and presently has braces - has also had to have a couple of teeth removed because of misalignment and crowding, in order to straighten her teeth. Hmm.
