New: Manafort was expected to be transferred to Rikers this month. But last week, prosecutors received a letter from Jeffrey Rosen, A.G. Barr's new top deputy, indicating that he was monitoring where Manafort would be held. Manafort now won't go to Rikers

NIKK...different source..... Previous reports had indicated Manafort would be transferred and kept in solitary confinement.

Manafort is expected to remain in prison in Pennsylvania, where he is serving a 7 ½-year sentence, but that he could be held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan while awaiting trial.

Top Justice Department officials characterized the deputy attorney general's intervention as highly unusual but maintained to the Times that it was not inappropriate. State prosecutors and former Justice Department officials also told the Times they found it surprising the second-highest law enforcement official in the country would take interest in Manafort's prison location.

I think he's in hiding. Hopefully it means he's heard the law is after him. He's been involved in a lot of bad stuff! AND I mean BAD!! He perhaps isn't only running from the law but from people he's done the Bad Stuff with or against. Now that's my opinion. Nothing is said on his son's twitter site on his funeral. Most people on twitter aren't on twitter to keep their mouths shut.

The story in the @nytimes about the U.S. escalating attacks on Russia’s power grid is Fake News, and the Failing New York Times knows it. They should immediately release their sources which, if they exist at all, which I doubt, are phony. Times must be held fully accountable!

This is a "just shoot me" post.

I sent an FOIA request to DOJ - Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's office and the Office of Information Policy - on 08/07/2017.
It was for information under:
§ 600.3 Qualifications of the Special Counsel.
(b) The Attorney General shall consult with the Assistant Attorney General for Administration to ensure an appropriate method of appointment, and to ensure that a Special Counsel undergoes an appropriate background investigation and a detailed review of ethics and conflicts of interest issues. A Special Counsel shall be appointed as a “confidential employee” as defined in 5 U.S.C. 7511(b)(2)(C).

I asked for all documentation and the results of all investigations required under 600.3(b)
for the ethics review and conflicts of interest review of Robert Mueller.

On (I think) 08/19/2018, DOJ advised me that I submitted to the wrong dept.
On 08/31/2018, the FOIA request we forward to 2 places. One is:JMD (Justice Management Division). They just sent me an e-mail - 06/17/2019 - apologizing for the delay but the forwarded FOIA was mis-directed.

JMD is advising that this request will now be put at the end of the queue. When it comes up, if it is a simple track request, I will get a response within a month of being assigned.

JMD has assigned my request to the Complex track.
I'm guessing that's like being wished into the cornfield.

I have not heard from the the other dept. that got this FOIA request. I don't even know which dept. it is.

In looking to get this info, I asked Tom Fitton for help and Larry Klayman for help...what I got in return were requests for a donation.

Other than that, life is good.
