I would never own any animal that easily could overpower me, but could never be trained to control themselves.
Horses are more powerful than any human, but they are smart , affectionate and most can be trained to a great degree.
Just the other week, some guy was trying to feed a Cassoway, a 5ft tall flightless bird with daggers for talons. Most adult Cassoways cannot be domesticated. This bird ripped the poor guys guts out. They are BORN TO BE WILD and only care about their survival.

Maybe you mean tamed. Domestication is a process of breeding a species and culling the ones that are aggressive towards humans. Dogs are already domesticated - even feral ones. Wolves can only be tamed, although they could be domesticated over generations of breeding. The Soviets went through the effort of domesticating red foxes. Their behavior isn’t very different from dogs. Domesticated red foxes are genetically different from their undomesticated cousins.
