Maybe you mean tamed. Domestication is a process of breeding a species and culling the ones that are aggressive towards humans. Dogs are already domesticated - even feral ones. Wolves can only be tamed, although they could be domesticated over generations of breeding. The Soviets went through the effort of domesticating red foxes. Their behavior isn’t very different from dogs. Domesticated red foxes are genetically different from their undomesticated cousins.
