This woman at work owns one. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and asked her “are they just dangerous when abused and bred for fighting?”

She said “No! I can’t walk him because he’ll KILL another dog and I am not strong enough to hold him back”

Where the heck did these dogs originate and is there any way to use them constructively, like in the military or something? There’s a crazy thought.

I would never own any animal that easily could overpower me, but could never be trained to control themselves.
Horses are more powerful than any human, but they are smart , affectionate and most can be trained to a great degree.

Just the other week, some guy was trying to feed a Cassoway, a 5ft tall flightless bird with daggers for talons. Most adult Cassoways cannot be domesticated. This bird ripped the poor guys guts out. They are BORN TO BE WILD and only care about their survival.

A lady you work with in Staten Island NY owns a Racoon Dog??

"The raccoon dog, also known as the mangut,[2] tanuki or neoguri is a canid indigenous to East Asia."
