QUESTION for all you FReeQs:

You know how 0vomit used to love to waltz around the world at taxpayer expense and it seemed mostly to entertain himself - going on expensive dates with Mooch, giving speeches so that foreigners would swoon in adoration? And now that we know much more, he probably spent some time doing derp business.

So, here’s my question: What is Trump doing on his current trip? I’m confident that he has MUCH BETTER things to do than 0vomit did, that these trips are not for petty reasons. I think the cover for the current EU trip is the D-Day commemoration, but what is he REALLY up to? Can anyone think of a reason that he would want to meat the Queen, or Charles, or May, or Macron, especially on their own turf? Any reason he’d want to meet them in person rather than deliver a message via phone or mail, etc.? Or are those meetings cover for someone else he’s meeting or something else he’s doing? If he’s meeting someone else (like Kim while in China), then who? Why?

What else is really going on here?

Is it merely an excuse to be on AF1 when BOOMs are happening?

I’d be interested in hearing everyone’s ideas.

The only things I can think of are to be out of CONUS when serious BOOMS hit, for his own safety, and to talk face to face with some derps about the fact that their derpdom is going to be on display very soon and what do they want to do about it. Or maybe even give them options.

Trump is doing business deals.
But he is also strengthening the anti Chinese aggression in the area...China is trying to grab islands from Japan, and of course their artificial islands in the south China sea let them block sea routes to Japan...Obama pressured the Philippines not to stop them, but Trump is bust sailing Navy ships near them, since legally it is international waters in the Phil economic zone, according to an international court case that China is ignoring.

I think it is interesting that Philippine president Duterte is visiting Japan next week. He plans to discuss investment, partly to counteract Chinas economic aggression here...the Chinese lend money, then if you dont pay back they take over your resources.

I'll venture a theory.

Japan: Giving face and maybe more to Japan (nukey nukes/Mil tech) to bulwark against China in the region and discussing tactics vis a vis the NK situation. Assuring them they are working together in that arena and that we got their back.

UK: Bringing them back into the fold using carrot and stick and letting them know the dealio on how he's gonna expose their "act of war" coup complicity and how they can make the boo boo go away by being his bitch.

In layman's terms.

What is Trump doing on his current trip?

My opinion: With Japan he's firming up relations. After the U.S., Japan is the number one victim of China's economic success. Until the U.S. and EU tilted the scales to China, Japan let the world in electronics. The stagnation of the Japanese economy, often attributed to the aging of their population, happened at the same time that that China's economic might exploded.

China's economy was allowed, enabled, and encouraged to grow by people and companies (e.g., Walmart) that reaped huge benefits from cheap Chinese labor, even though it decimated the U.S. economy -- and Japan's.

Trump is reminding Japan that they are a key ally, both politically and economically, and that we need to stand together against our common enemy, China -- to mutual benefit.

When Trump goes to England, he will tell the British Derps to BEHAVE -- because he has it all.

President Trump is currently in Japan. He played golf with his friend PM Abe yesterday. He is going to be the first world leader to meet the new Emperor Naruhito. And then he is going to hold trade discussions.

Oh, another thing. We know the bads can listen in on any and all telephone conversations as they started leaking the President’s conversations immediately. So yes, there is tremendous importance on face to face communications.
