well, we ALMOST had a new thread last night. I had a bout of insomnia(AGAIN) and earlier in ;evening.. no internet... I am still cautious of my brother’s family plan and limited data use. but about 3 isn in AM after tossing for hours I decided to see if internet was back. It was.... but my computer wasn’t working. waiting half hour for it to come up.

had a glass of wine and went back to bed.. did sleep a little. This morning had a note on my computer that the computer had rebootednand OS was upgraded.. so that is why the problem was. relief. Another expense I can’t worry about.

Off to chiropractor shortly and then Jenny is going to get a gun session (her first). On her travel bags she has button “gun control”.. so I think Im rubbing off a bit. Teacher will be a conservative friend. It is a long drive to his place but he has a lot of guns, ammon, a good teacher and acreage - large to shoot at.

I did catch up a bit earlier on the thread. Baseball teams.. food, polls..rally news... alll great..

Will check in later.. going to be a long day without sleep. I won’t be shooting today. Just Jenny.. Ill take my books along.

NY to pass bill allowing state to prosecute those with presidential pardons
“New York is one signature away from allowing prosecutors to pursue state charges against presidential associates who have received federal pardons.

The Democratic-controlled state assembly on Tuesday passed a bill 90-52 allowing the state-level prosecution of people pardoned of federal crimes, provided that they worked for or were related to the president at the time of the pardon.”

Tillerson reached out to the committee and expressed a willingness to meet, a committee aide said. In a more than six-hour meeting, he told members and staffers that the Trump administration actively avoided confronting Russia about allegations of interference in the election in an effort to develop a solid relationship with the Kremlin, a committee aide told The Daily Beast.

Tillerson also told members and aides that he had tried to establish a formal and disciplined interagency process at the State Department whereby the president could receive informed briefings on sensitive foreign policy matters, the aide said. That effort never manifested, Tillerson told the committee, in part because of the president’s management style, but also because of interference from other aides.

Tillerson told the committee that the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, at times impeded his ability to communicate effectively and introduce to President Trump policy proposals developed by State Department experts on major foreign affairs matters across the globe, not just in the Middle East. Kushner, a White House adviser, has publicly focused much of his international efforts on the Middle East and is set to unveil a Middle East peace plan in the coming weeks.

Teter v. Veritas is a landmark ruling that set federal precedent this morning. Federal judge threw out the plaintiff's lawsuit in stunning fashion before it even reached the jury. Defends 1st amendment and Veritas methods. We are 6-0 in lawsuits!!!
