hi hon.. just got back to Jen’s condo. I don’t know whether to scream or cry some more (have already cried some). Got a note that my Medicaid ap was denied. As I have too high of an income.

I have NO income.

I have 480/mo social security which is a savings program.. not income

I have NO savings, no bonds NADA NADA

I have a home with NO utilities because I cannot afford them.

I canceled my home insurance as I cannot afford it.

I am arrears on country real estate taxes and foreclosure is emminent

I have 4 $ to my name til my next social security check in 2 + weeks and my gas tank is pushing E.

I can’t work due to Anemia and shingles... might be able to get something to supplement if I can ever get medicaid (there is an appeal)

I guess my biggest frustration is that I KNOW that people walk across our borders and quickly have 1700/mo income/benefits.

sorry for rant. I am so hurt and down. The appeal would be in Columbus. Cant even afford gas to go 50 miles yet alone there.

Sucks. forgive me. I ranted with Jen ... and she is a lib but in complete agreement with me. I want to write more about her. She is a lib .. atheist.. and I believe God has put me here for the reason of my health.. but also her soul. It is coming... she didn’t get a very good example of Christian strength however the past hour

I cannot imagine that at less than $6,000/year, and with a chronic illness, you make “too much” and would not qualify.
