But, get a look at the weaslley way they arranged it....
The FOX television network announced Tuesday that it will move forward with a sixth season of its hit drama "Empire." However, there are no plans to bring back the character portrayed by Jussie Smollett, who claimed earlier this year he was a victim of a hate crime that police said was fabricated.
"By mutual agreement, the studio has negotiated an extension to Jussie Smollett's option for season six, but at this time there are no plans for the character of Jamal to return to 'Empire,'" FOX said in its statement Tuesday.

The guy is mentally unstable.
I think many in the left honestly believe they can simply speak things to truth. And let’s be frank, there are many that still believe him. If those are the type of people you hang around, you may just find yourself doing and saying what he’s doing and saying now, completely oblivious to the actual fact that you are a worlds laughing stock - or worse.
Post 11- Now, there is a detail for the next Political Trivia contest.
Thanks.
Can someone arrest him now?
The reason should have been because he’s in jail.
Smollett’s cake will not be baked.
In fact, the ingredients have not even been assembled.
Writers, directors, producers, and even advertisers are off the hook.
Mr. Smollett was born with the name JUSTICE Smollett.
Irony, thou hast a name!

The world is getting stranger by the day.
That’s how I took it.
They aren’t spinning off xher character to xis own show???
Still getting paid, though.
I recall reading an interview with Loretta Swit and she said that Mclean told her that even if he ended up in a flop, he still wanted to be the main star of the show, as opposed to having to be number 2 or 3 to Alan Alda on MASH.
I'm not sure who the target audience was for a show about internecine power struggles within the Hip-Hop recording industry. They certainly weren't targeting me.
Slow walking his departure to be “sensitive”.
I think the only thing I’ve watched on Fox recently is Hell’s Kitchen.
Fox has been a continual programming disappointment.
Firefly, Keen Eddie, Lucifer, Kitchen Confidential, that Bones spinoff, ...
They didnt want him, but there was no legal action against him, so he couldnt be fired for morals clause violation. Cause Chicago let him completely off the hook. So they asked him not to come in to work for probably 85% of his next years salary.
No but he will find employment with no problem from some other White-hating lying POS.
Wikipedia had it up before the debacle created by Fox.
They have since pulled it and exclusively use “Jussie” throughout.
He got his wish. His show Hello Larry was a flop, but at least he was the star.
Thanks. 3 years ago we cut our cable, and my wife wanted to keep Fox and ABC.
A few weeks later, she said forget them. We did that!
When this tv loser show first came on, we watched about 15 minutes, looked at each other and switched channels. We were and are in total agreement with your excellent summary below:
“I’m not sure who the target audience was for a show about internecine power struggles within the Hip-Hop recording industry. They certainly weren’t targeting me.”
“Fox has been a continual programming disappointment.”
Is this due to the SOM’s, aka Sons Of Murdoch?
