I have been working on a knowledge base of topics related to prepping and SHTF situations. It is geared towards making people more self sufficient with topics ranging from unarmed self defense to small space gardening to how to sew your own clothes. I'm one of those types of people who believe that we are going to go out with a whimper, not a bang, so there is a lot of content on how to do your own repairs, build your own stuff and live a more frugal lifestyle. In order to get access you need to send me a PM then I will give you a link and an access code. Once you're in you can find a directory list in each folder. You can download 1 file or everything there in one big zip file. You would need to have some basic book readers, all which can be found for free. It's been up and running for a few months now and plenty of people have visited it and lived to tell the tale :-) If you're interested send me a PM and I will send you the link and crypto key.
This is a free offer to access Prepper files of your choice.
Last known, this a limited time offer due to website financial and time restrictions.
The best time to prepare is when there is no immediate, or despirited need.
Consider this offer as a form of self-directed insurance.
Thanks for posting this and, more importantly, all of that information. Yes, the time to prepare is BEFORE problems arise.
Look for my PM.
FReeper kartograhper has done a lot of excellent work in this area.

Some lame stuff; some good stuff. Lots of different techniques for fire making & primitive cooking. Primitive tools and projectiles.
I have a list of links that I haven’t put on the site yet. Now that you’ve reminded me I’ll put them on right away.
How do I get the file?
" In order to get access you need to send me ( Oshkalaboomboom ) a PM (FReeper Mail)
then I will give you a link and an access code.
Once you're in you can find a directory list in each folder."
The FReeper mail should be addressed to " Oshkalaboomboom ",
as he controls the information website & password access code .
Once inside the website, you can pick and choose what materials interest you,
and at that point, you can choose to print (hard copy), or download ( an electronic) copy.
You have FRMail...
About the only skill mr. mm and I need yet is how to kill and gut dinner and how to preserve whatever might be left over, with a method besides canning.
True that !
Kartographer and others saw the need to establish and maintain a reference library of self-preparation articles,
on an ongoing basis.
The entire historical archieve of FReeper "prepper" articles can be found at:

The entire historical archieve of FReeper " shtf" articles can be found at:

Thanks!
Then there may be files there that can help you.
Be VERY CAREFUL to NOT puncture the Bladder, Stomach or Intestines of whatever critter is being Cleaned. The next most difficult thing is skinning. Then follow the main joints: Hips, Shoulders, Elbows and Knees. After that Youre basically done.
Stop by Auto Parts Store for a box of Blue Gloves (Nitrile) for easy clean up. Use NON SCENTED Drawstring Trash Bags for the 1/4s.
Also have a Very Sharp Knife and a Whetstone to refresh the edge on knife.
Storage methods: Drying, Smoking, Salt rub cure, Waterproof containers and a cold creek submerged and weighted down.
Like prepping for Hurricane season in May instead of when there is a storm in the Gulf.
Quite true, but you shouldn't feel sorry for the folks who go to the grocery store for bottled water,
ice, bread, toilet paper, gasoline, or milk hours before the storm hits.
Ever notice that just before, and during a severe storm that people end up at the grocery store, only to find shelves empty?
That's because they hadn't prepared when they first heard about the storm, but procrastinated,
sometimes only hours before the storm actually hits landfall.
That is why "prepping" is a lifestyle and a choice, .. a choice made by decision.
My wife and I have ridden out 10+ hurricanes.
And we love to teach the newbies. Makes like much more comfortable.
Yep.
