Barr is Made out of the same “law and order” Mold. It drives the immoral progressives crazier. His forte is he KNOWS the law and will use it against their wannabe laws. Watch how quickly the judicial department falls in line. By the end of the year the difference will be evident and those wishing to save their own necks will come forward with all sorts of evidence. I was in Afghanistan in 2004 & 2005, and in Iraq in 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009... we are NOW in the year 2019- let’s face it, something is very wrong with this endless strategy.

I would like to think that I could have accepted a finite conclusion, therefore an end term strategy, from CINC Obama too!
Why has the poppy fields expanded exponentially since our involvement in the middle east?
Somebody from the CIA needs to explain why we shouldn’t be hanging hundreds of SES/GSA employees from lamp posts throughout the MAGA tenure!

Yes, the poppy fields are protected at all costs. My son who was in Iraq and Afghanistan (only 3 tours but same time frame) shares your assessment. He’s convinced CIA is a drug operation since Poppy Bush.

Sadly, I hang my head in agreement.
The SAS (British top tier special forces) built a discreet compound across from a concrete batch plant where I was pulling QC duties in Kandahar, Afghanistan, in 2004. The work went on for quite some time, carrying into 2005. The rumor was that they were going to go after the top warlords running the drug trade. They would fly in and out of the compound on helos and conduct clandestine ops. The mission was eventually cancelled by who knows who, and the compound was abandoned, and the Afghan drug trade continued unabated. Prove me wrong! Anybody?

As long as the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan continues under the guise of establishing a democratic government, the flow of heroin will continue unabated. One question we should ask is “who owns the planes and the ships that transport 90% percent of the world’s heroin from Afghanistan to the rest of the world in the first place? It sure isn’t the Taliban.
