Cubans are coming in, via the caravans, into the US. The minute a Cuban sets foot on US soil they are granted asylum.

This reminds me of something which our friends told us yesterday.

They said that they’ll never go back to Jamaica, which was one of the ports on their cruise.

They told us that the Jamaican people treated them terribly when they learned that they were Americans and their experience in Jamaica made them feel threatened and frightened for the younger women and girls in their group.

They said that the Jamaican people were extremely angry about “Trump’s Wall”.

Exactly. To them, taking action means endless seminars and meetings, writing reports numbering hundreds of pages, and if they ever come to a solution it’s more government bureaucracy that makes things worse.

Looking at Schumer’s list of demands before he even meets with the President on infrastructure is a good example of how they think.

I hate the propaganda media more every day. What kind of headline is "meets with the Teacher of the Year AFTER ALL." No where in the article does it say that President Trump said that he would not meet with the T of the Y. After last year's winner (a teacher of refugees and immigrants in the State of Washington) disrespecting him at the ceremony, who could blame POTUS if he did not.

Social media had a field day(s) saying that Trump met with the white T of the Y last year but wouldn't meet with the black T of the Y this year. It was a lie, one of those "sources say", but people who consume only the propaganda press will never know that. That lie gave the MSM the opportunity to put a negative spin on the event even with the great pictures.

Trump is amazing in how he can make groups, even those who are predisposed to hate having him for president, comfortable. He did this yesterday with Baylor's NCAA winning Lady Bears and today with the teachers. I bet most of them were against smiling at the ceremony or in the Oval Office but they did anyway.

The oval office part of today's Teacher of the Year event was "closed press." FINALLY! The pictures taken must have been by the White House photographers, something that Obama did throughout his presidency. The nasty female presstitute who shouted a question twice yesterday about Trump being in favor of white nationalists after the beautiful ceremony with mostly black basketball players may been the last straw for letting the press in for events. That combined with my email to the president through the comment line link provided here must have tipped the scale. (I wish).

What I read was that they were told that Devos would be handing out the award, so they thought they would not meet with the President, so they were happy when they did get to meet with him.

I agree with you about the media and their misleading headlines. What makes it worse is many people only look at headlines.
