When you posted about going through China Grove, Tx, it reminded me of my youth during my first life in TX. I used to like to steal signs. Once, I was driving in hill country at night with a friend, and there was a wooden sign, “Luckenbach 2 miles”. Had to have it, so I took it. I had it in my living room for years. When someone came over and saw it, they’d say “cool! Where’d you get that?”. I’d say, “2 miles from Luckenbach”. Some were surprised at first, but everybody laughed.
