Breathing will help to overcome stress, lower your blood pressure and increase your oxygen level-all GOOD things.
When I was stressed out from a suicide with a co-worker, I went to hypnosis (trying anything to help) the guy started the session with 15 minutes of “guided” breathing so I could focus to relax. (DON’T HAVE INTERRUPTIONS)
-Breathe in for a count to five(made sure you are belly breathing and not chest breathing)/whichever expands is where you are breathing you need it to go to the belly.
-Hold your breath for a count of 5
-Exhale on a count of 5
-Rest on a count of five (doesn’t have to be a long lengthy count just keep them the same-try to expand the length of the count as you relax
