I agree. My son is bipolar, and I can testify he is better on meds. OTOH, I think they are too quick to prescribe meds to people, especially kids, that don’t have a real mental problem.

While sitting with P when he was in ICU because of the grandmall seizure brought on because of the prescriptions, started reading the side effects. Most included depression and thoughts of suicide. JGeese just what a person who is depressed and suicidal needs. He too has PTSD. They regularly over medicate those instead of helping them work through the abnormal situation that created the problem in a normal person.

Another reason why very few in Congress deserve our respect.

The government pays out $2,125/month in refugee benefits to refugees resettled in the United States

(That would be people like the thousands of Somalis in Minnesota like Ilhan Omar who hate our guts)

Meanwhile, Social Security recipients who have paid into the system their whole live receive $1,400/month on average

That means somewhere around half the SS recipients receive less than the $1,400.

The least the butt-heads in congress could do is put a cap on payments to immigrants to no more that the average Social Security payment.

But instead the democrats and RINOs look for ways to reduce Social Security even more by raising the age brackets, eliminating inflation increases, etc.

Many of us would be better off learning some Spanish and turning ourselves in at the border as illegals.
