IMHO it is just like opposition research to give the dims something to run on, that’s why Mueller didn’t exonerate the President on obstruction.

Good afternoon from JBA, where it’s sunny and 79 degrees.

POTUS arrived at tarmac on Marine One at 4:30 p.m.

He boarded AF1 with Flotus at 4:33 p.m. without stopping to talk to reporters, though he did give a quick wave.

Pool spotted Scavino and Mulvaney among those traveling with the president.

POTUS is heading to his Florida club for the Easter weekend; he’s scheduled to return to D.C. late Sunday.

Next stop is Palm Beach International Airport.

Rolling, wheels up shortly.

White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere provides the list of aides traveling with POTUS to Mar-a-Lago this weekend: acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, White House counsel Pat Cipollone, and assistant to the president Dan Scavino.

Subject: Travel Pool #2 - Palm Beach arrival - no gaggle

AF1 landed at Palm Beach International at 6:30 p.m. after an uneventful, 2-hour flight.

No gaggle on board, though Steven Groves, who recently joined the WH press office as a deputy press secretary, came back to press cabin for off-record pleasantries and introductions.

POTUS appeared to tweet during flight, touting upcoming Fox News programming.

On the ground, POTUS got off plane and waved to supporters at about 6:40 p.m. He declined to speak to the pool press once again on day full of Mueller news.

On tarmac, a smiling POTUS approached an adoring crowd behind a rail and signed MAGA caps and said “thank you” many times. Other well-wishes couldn’t be heard over engines.

Motorcade is moving at 6:52 p.m.

POTUS motorcade arrived at Mar-a-Lago at 7:03 p.m., and pool vans broke off. Pooler did not spot POTUS.

Folks along the streets from airport were mostly supporters; one sign said “Happy Easter” to the Trump family.

Another: “In Trump we trust”

Others told him to build the wall.

Yet a cluster had huge signs reading:

“Resign” and “corrupt” and “liar”

Another anti-Trump sign said, “Trump lies,” with “Faux Fox News” on reverse of it.
