I tried to load that to read, but couldn’t. Two separate fires sounds fishy to me. I guess that two workers could have been smoking or welding or whatever in differnt areas and were careless at the same time?

There are still plenty of faithful Catholics in France. There were twatter videos of a large crowd of people outside the burning Notre Dame some distance, singing hymns, saying the rosary, many on their knees, and praying.

I want to take this time, after a night of sleep, to thank you all for putting up with my despair and shock of yesterday...

I looked at the pictures this morning of Jim and his wife, what a lovely couple, I have so much respect for Jim and also his wife...when your mate, friend, husband goes off to war, it isn’t just the person leaving, it is also about the ones left behind and I admire them all...
When I meet someone in uniform at my work, or someone wearing a cap, I always shake their hand and tell them BOTH thank you, they BOTH fought that war at one time or another...

I’m off today, have dr appointments, tests, going out with friends for an early dinner and then back here...

I missed Tucker last night. That is a good question worth considering. Beautiful architecture and a reminder of the faith of their fathers. If rebuilding ND would stir an awakening it would be worth all the cost but only God can bring that about and He needs no grand cathedral. Interesting to ponder.
Went to the news sources to catch up on the ND news. Made the mistake of reading other articles. Sigh. Now I’m missing Q. I always feel down after reading the news...even on the conservative sites. Guess I’m missing my dose of “we are in control” reminders. Oh well, off to volunteer this morning with a bunch of nice people.
