A plea deal is usually a gift from God.
Because you NEVER want to trust other folks with your future.
Unless you have OVERWHELMING evidence that you’re innocent.
Or your that guy Smollett. But then you just get your case thrown out anyway.

The most these people will “serve” is a short, token stint in a high-end hotel masquerading as a minimum-security facility. Celebs and liberal politicians glide above the reach of the justice system that rules over the rest of us.
I read yesterday she has additional charges in which she would face up to 40 years and that she’s had an arrogant attitude about the whole thing, and she rejects a plea deal that would have gotten her probably a year served? Bwa ha ha, oh man is she effed. Who does she think she is, Hillary? Honey, you need to steal FBI files first.
The problem I have with this.....( and YES cheating is cheating)......I have never seen Lori Loughlin in anything smarmy, vile, or salacious.....
....she always appears, IMO, wholesome, winsome and upholding family values
So how is it she’s the face.....the whipping boy who gets the most publicity......out of hundreds who did the same thing?
I find the desire of the media/left to hang these white women disgusting. They act like it is the worst crime imaginable.
Meanwhile, the same government going after them, allows unqualified black & brown kids to bypass normal qualifications that are stacked against white & Asian kids.
I am baffled. Why don’t I see charges against the university folks that took the money? Surely they should be charged.

Laor Loughlin doesn’t get it. She was posing for photographs and signing autographs outside the Federal courthouse. This ain’t acting Lori, this is dead serious. You are in trouble.

The rich white people have to go to jail to take the attention off the hoaxter Mullett so that it “appears” that there is the rule of law. She is being made an example of-—and what she did was wrong, and yes she should pay. But she is being thrown to the pack to protect others who are more politically connected and/or have a more approved skin color.
One of the problems I have with this story is that it is not clear to me what was illegal vs simply unethical.
