Assorted news from the chans tonight:

Clapper = leaker?

BREAKING: Information from highly classified Flynn intercepts circulated from McCabe —> to Comey —> to Clapper [—> to WaPo?], making Clapper a top suspect in illegal leak to WaPo. Mueller came across this chain of info during his probe, yet never bothered to prosecute the leak

Nadler = libelous?

BREAKING: In the wake of the Mueller Report, House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler appears to have committed libel in Feb 2018 when he claimed: “The Russian government waged a massive campaign to discredit our election. Carter Page appears to have played a role in that effort.”

Trump / JOBS

https://nypost.com/2019/04/07/trumps-jobs-creating-magic-wand/

Manufacturing has added 480,000 jobs since Trump’s election, and 209,000 jobs in the past 12 months. And that boom is something that both President Barack Obama and top liberal economist-pundit Paul Krugman insisted couldn’t happen.
Literally: In June 2016, Obama slammed Trump’s promises as impossible, saying the then-candidate would need a “magic wand” to deliver. Manufacturing jobs “are just not going to come back,” he warned — after six months when they’d fallen by 31,000 under his policies.

A month after Election Day 2016, Paul Krugman wrote of factory work: “Nothing policy can do will bring back those lost jobs. The service sector is the future of work; but nobody wants to hear it.”

Plus two major breaks from recent Democratic and Republican policy.
First: His trade approach has always been aimed at boosting US employment
Second: Trump’s toughness on illegal immigration

As Charles Gasparino noted in Saturday’s Post, this last actually has The New York Times bewailing the rise in construction wages because of a labor shortage. The building trades are notorious for employing the “undocumented”; now they’re feeling a squeeze thanks to Trump.

The Times paints it as “a terrible burden for wealthy construction companies and contractors,” Gasparino notes — when it’s a clear win for the US working class.

Typo or show?

Nielsen resignation letter says 2018, not 2019.

I guess I am in the dark about Carter Page. Which way is up with him? Was he a hapless twit, at the wrong place at the wrong time or what?

I feel vomitous when I look at Nadler.

Cant believe Gasbagarino is tossing semi-compliments at 45.

Personally I think that badass Sheriff from Wisconsin would be great at DHS.

Wasn’t Neilsen there for her supposed cyber security cred?

Hey did you see Mulvaney on Fox this afternoon? I love him, he is great. Always has 45’s back. I see why POTUS has him in Chief of staff seat.

****************************************************************************************
It was not necessary for Russian Government to discredit the election, the MASSIVE CAMPAIGN by DemocRATS, Derpers, and Mockingbird media dwarfed anything that Russia did or did not do.

I suspect most appointees assume their position and then pen a resignation letter. Dates are left fluid so the President can “call in the chit” at anytime. Wasn’t there some kefuffle with Nielsen about this time last year, too?

That said, bear in mind that many things “dropped” in the 2017/2018 timeframe are being seen as occurring now.

Trust The Plan.
