thanks.
I got on then got off Webb during the Awan investigation. Webb had stuff that Russert didn’t.
But Webb was too cloak & dagger\paranoid for my tastes.
Posting the quote from Rachel Maddow below because I’m guessing I’m not the only one who doesn’t watch her propaganda.
Rachel Maddow:
“If William Barr does not meet the deadline set by Congress to hand over that unredacted report by tomorrow, and if he is subpoenaed for it on Wednesday, and if the subpoena on Wednesday also doesnt compel him to turn over the report to Congress, then on Thursday, we can report tonight that a group called the Trump is not above the law coalition, theyre planning over 175 protests all over the country on Thursday in response. This is a coalition group that has a lot of big-name members.
And this coalition planned actions like this in advance
saying these demonstrations would be triggered if steps were taken by the Trump administration to go after the Mueller investigation. This group formed in advance and made this plan in advance to try to plan public demonstrations and public response to protect Mueller and his investigation in anticipation that the Trump administration would take steps to block it or would try to keep Muellers findings secret. Again, ten days into the Mueller report having been submitted but not yet been released, that coalition confirms to us tonight that unless the Mueller report is out by Thursday, those folks are going to be out in the streets that day in response.”
~~~~~~~
For what it’s worth, the last such protest bragged that a whole 100,000 nationwide protested - yet I never talked to anyone who saw any of these protests.
In the morning when I show up, she sits with her coffee, entranced in front of the TV, dutifully watching the news.
Not knowing her situation this may be her company. Is there a conservative radio show you could plug her into? Sometimes it is just the habit of hearing the familiar each day.
Is the familiar habit or comfort or a comfortable habit?
I recall Good Morning America back in the 70’s with David Hartman. It was a show that, no matter where my travels found me, I was brought home each morning by GMA. It was a very down home show back in the day and I found it comforting to watch.
Having said that...I hung on to GMA for a long time because the comfort formed a habit...until Joan Lunden finally left and then like Tarzan catching another vine, I moved to Fox and Friends. Then, Fox and Friends expelled their one conservative...
I know I’m rambling, but I’m not sure how to say this. It’s hard to give up a show you have trusted...to understand that, well, you had nothing to trust after all..
Q
If Webb has actual facts, he could easily express them without the nonstop verbiage, speculation, “me me me” thing, and provide sources.
From the True Life Is Stranger Than Fiction Department, James Comeys 30-year-old daughter Maurene Comey is on the SDNY posse that will carry on investigating the Trump-Russia conspiracy.
Like her father who served as a US attorney for SDNY from Jan. 7, 2002 to Dec. 15, 2003, Maurene Comey has been an assistant US attorney in the SDNY office since 2015
Most excellent rant!
Internal Revenue Service filings reveal The Democracy Integrity Project, founded in 2017 by a former staffer to Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., $3.3 million was paid to Bean LLC., a holding company that oversees Fusion GPS. Separately, $250,000 was paid to London-based Walsingham Partners Ltd., which is owned by Steele and his business partner Christopher Burrows, the Daily Caller reports.
Similarly, hundreds of thousands of dollars were also paid to other firms with ties to Fusions GPS as contractors or law firms that represented Fusion GPS on legal matters concerning the dossier, according to TDIPs tax filings.
Jones claimed he oversaw a shadow media organization helping the government investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election and that he intended to share his findings with federal investigators, the media, and lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
And will there a double yellow line up the middle? :)
FWIW, back at the end of November I saw and reported one such protest. In downtown Seattle, where I was visiting, I saw a rag-tag group of 50 protesters, many with placards. Darned if I can remember what the protest was about.
Thanks for posting, smikeyface!
