CWBChicago is posting the complete Chicago Police Department investigative file on the Jussie Smollett "hate crime" investigation that we have received in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.
We have not read or reviewed the files for completeness or accuracy.
These files were provided by the Chicago Police Department in response to a FOIA request that CWBChicago submitted upon learning that the Cook County State's Attorney's Office had reached a sealed agreement to resolve Smollett's criminal exposure in the case.
Our requests for video, including bodycam, surveillance, and interrogation, was denied.

It does warm my heart that as corrupt and slimy as we KNOW Chicago is, the police department has some honorable folks there.
It must be horrific to be a policeman in a liberal city. You know you are better in every way than your leaders, but you must still watch criminals get away with everything while the critters make millions.

The most alarming part for me:
The Smolett family was HAPPY when they got word that the case was being transferred to the FBI.
That was a real wowzer and yugely instructive.
The full report of the investigation should be released to the public as he is “innocent”
I hope Jussie Smollett never works again as an actor and that we never see this liar again except when the feds indict him.
I hope that the judge and prosecutor lose their jobs.
Well, I'm certain that Smollett is anti-Trump and tried to paint Trump supporters as nazi thugs so he has nothing to fear from his fellow travelers in the post-Obama FBI.

I wouldn’t want to be Smollett and get stopped for a traffic infraction in Chicago.
Hope denied. His successes in Hollywood is now virtually guaranteed.

I heard an attorney on Fox this morning who said that since the prosecutor threw out the case, wiped his record clean and sealed the records, the show Empire can now be sued if they terminated him because of this fake hate crime...........
If the Smollett family has any sense, they won't be taking any advice from that lawyer. They need to go underground for a few months to let the outrage die down.
In the meantime, I hope that state officials in Illinois do something to reverse this travesty of justice.

Judge Watkins seems to be getting a pass on his decision and what influenced him to make this disgusting ruling . He doesn’t deserve it. In fact without it this wouldn’t be where it’s at.
