I actually agree with you. The appointment of an SC can waste a lot of time. Although it puts the coup matter in the hands of a 3rd party leaving Barr and POTUS as semi-neutral parties, it also delays justice.

Barr should step up and do the job he is paid to do. He should get everything out and let the public decide.

The Swamp always tries to avoid direct combats, always putting a 3rd party to handle interparty conflicts, always evading an appearance of government instability. It’s true that mass arrests of members of the opposition party make America seem unstable, but it can also set an example of how the Rule of Law stamps out corruption.

But the original question is, “Can a newly appointed Special Prosecutor use information previously collected by IG Horowitz and Huber to make his case against the deep state derps? That could make for a Quick, tidy way to indict and then prosecute the black hats.
