Speaking of NY, the Southern District’s investigations are still alive and both Manhattan DA and State AG have promised investgations. As Yogi would say”It aint over till it’s over” And the Lefty progs won’t let it be over.
James Comey said something in his June 2017 testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee that didn't get much attention ... but I thought it was the most remarkable thing the guy said about Trump in any public statement.
He described his infamous dinner meeting with Trump back in January 2017 when he assured Trump that he (Trump) wasn't under investigation. According to Comey, Trump said something to this effect: "I'm tempted to order you to conduct an investigation against me, just to prove my innocence."
Comey convinced Trump that it wouldn't be a good idea to do that -- simply because it would give the wrong message about the President of the United States.
I think Trump never let go of that idea ... and when Mueller was appointed as special counsel in May of 2017 -- one day after meeting with Trump in the White House -- I speculated that this whole charade may have been Trump's way of getting that investigation done.
Why wasn’t it all ended sooner?
He was told to ‘shut it down’ because he came up with nothing, and if he continued doing any more, then it would be obvious that he was trying to create something out of nothing.
Or -- as I said at the time -- faced with a blatant conflict of interest.
Go back and look at all the information that began to come out in early 2017 about the illicit surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016. Sessions didn't do anything wrong during the campaign, but he could not be involved in any oversight of an investigation because he knew damn well that HE had been a target of FBI/CIA surveillance.

That was a highly misleading bit of information. The Federal fiscal year runs from October 1st to September 30th ... so Mueller's investigation was simply funded within the current (2019) fiscal year.

If this oversized zoo animal takes any legal action against Trump, his family or his company, I don't think it's a stretch to suggest that Trump might win every state between the Delaware River and the Sierra Nevada Mountains in 2020.
