Typically, the scariest thing youll encounter at a grocery store is long lines at the checkout or an expired coupon. For shoppers in Wilmington, Mass. its an apparition that appears to be a young woman in Victorian clothing.
A members-only page on Facebook, dedicated to local events and possible coyote sightings in the area, has the community buzzing after several people reported seeing a young woman, between the age of 17 and 30, with light skin, dark hair, and blue eyes in out-of-fashion clothes wandering the aisles of Market Basket on Main Street. One shopper, according to Patch.com, is familiar with her as she used to visit her home when she lived near the store.
The post shared on the social media page has residents either laughing or admitting to seeing the ghostly figure.
If the rumors are true, it makes this Market Basket a lot more interesting, one shopper told CBS Boston.

These apparitions will soon come even more common and more pronounced:
2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 King James Version (KJV)
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Taking time to read them, thank you! My kids say that the call button is the most common source. But they have had some experiences that shook them up enough to call off a couple days because the experiences were directly related to a friend/resident that had just passed or passed on their shift.
Pretty wild stuff.
My next door neighbor who watched me grow up passed about 10 years ago and is still around. During the day he hangs out in his shop where he sat for years and years watching his garden grow drinking beer. I go have a beer with him now and then. It took the new owner a couple years to get used to him being around all the time. He goes back and forth down the hall in the house about four times a night.
However, they were able to grab this quick snapshot...
I awakened at 4 a.m. & saw my mama standing, bathed in light, in my bedroom. I knew she had come to say goodbye & was at peace. There was nothing to fear. She disappeared after a few seconds.
At 7:30 a.m. my sister called to tell me she’d just received the call from the nursing home. Mama had passed around 4 a.m. An attendant making rounds had checked her & found no pulse, but her body had still been warm.
Lots of hair raising stories told there. Many mention black figures seen by nurses and patients in rooms just before the patient dies.
Some places just keep things WAY past their expiry date

My brother vacationing in Hawaii had this ‘feeling’ our father died. He didn’t. It was our grandfather.
i have a small amount of ashes from a loved one in my house.
i was sick and hospitalized in November. When i came home, she was all around the bed- I smelled her hand lotion.
I had a relapse in January- same thing.
I also smell cigarette smoke sometimes in my foyer only. We don’t smoke.
Yeah. She’s usually spotted around the Samuel Adams beer display. Elizabeth Warren hangs out with her there. LOL.
These things do seem to happen
A few days after my mother died six years ago, my daughter went out into the kitchen one overnight, and the cupboards above the sink & stove were all perfectly opened 90°, but nothing was disturbed. I told my wife, I knew we shouldve returned Moms Tupperware a long time ago
My parents house has been haunted since it was built. Family, friends and neighbors have witnessed weird things and I have and I believe in spooks to an extent.
My wife worked in a hospital built in the 1950s which has had remodeling and movement of departments over the decades. She was in administration and finance and that suite which was locked down at 5:00pm was the old ER area 40 years ago. Many nights during month end she would be working late and here people walking around in the office suite outside her office which was at the far end and last office of the suite and doors opening and closing. She would get up and check to find all as should be. Then she would start hearing voices out in the secretary area and walk out and look, it was a straight shot view from her office door to that area, nothing there.
Finally she decided to close her door and crank her radio when she had to work late and drowned out the noise. When finished she had everything shut down and her purse on her arm and she would say aloud time to go and hit the lights and zip down the office suites to the main door and out quickly. She never believed in ghost until she stayed in my parents house and worked at that hospital.
If you ever see one it may scare the baby Jesus out of you. It scared me.
I remember you sharing that story awhile back. I think it was a good thing to happen. :)
After you have a few experiences you just can’t doubt it anymore. More are not exposed because they are indeed rare, but when you find the right location they can be quite common. I had a friend who bought a real and true haunted house. I used to house sit while he and his wife went out of town every week end.
I had three experiences there by myself three week ends in a row. I am a spiritual person so I tried to just understand that I was in “their space” and respect it. But the third experience was way far evil and physical. I was done house sitting that house.
no doubt
damn, i’ve seen that one before
I have seen a ghost, a UFO, and Bigfoot.
I even took pictures.
In every case though, the pics turned out fuzzy and blurry.
Darn. Lol.
I heard a noise in my house once.
Then it came again the next day.
Each morning at 6 am.
It sounded like a ring.
Ring, ring, ring each morning near my bed.
I gave up, so I would just wake up, and get up. Why fight it.
