Circa 1981. High tech in business at the time. Forced phone lines to clean up interference and line noise.
14.4 by 1983 the RS2732 showed up and I helped configure P2P by phone in 1984. Successful file sent from Casper to SLC. No, I didn’t have to report it to Al Gore.
Re the NZ video - I can’t watch it. Pamela Gellar had a picture from Nigera in the article of the slaughter in that country, and I saw what appears to be a dead baby lying on the ground.
I love OANN. It is on Roku.
I’m all caught up...said no teacher ever !
‘cept Phys Ed teachers.
My daughter taught Spanish. She told of daily\weekly lesson plan preps. Grading homework\tests etc...
Then she talked about one of her friends who was a phys ed teacher - she blew up all the volley balls. She was done for the year.
Really! But, it was his Signature! I visualized him in bow, like forever. KEK! Also, I confess I dont watch him.
Ex-White House Economist Alan Krueger Dies
Alan Krueger, who chaired the White House Council of Economic Advisers under former President Barack Obama, has died. He was 58.
The death was announced Monday by Princeton University, where Krueger was a professor.
Only about 3 years all told since I was 18, actually 16-18 lived with people other than parents and there was a TV around but didn’t watch much. TV has just never been a part of my life; when I was a kid I mostly lived out in the country and it was more fun to play outside than sit inside and watch whatever was on. Old time stuff that wasn’t as insidious, that’s for sure! I raised my kids TV-less.
I understand he was born with a bowtie so the transition was difficult lol. Actually I recall he ditched prior to starting Daily Caller

Uhh ... is that a slogan or something?
If you can read a Balance Sheet and understand the prioritization of classes of debt and equity (i.e., capital) and the powers of corporate control of each class (of capital), then you understand that capitalism is a real thing.
A Christchurch mosque has been linked to the drone killing of New Zealand al-Qaida suspect Daryl Jones.
The parents of an Australian killed alongside Jones say their son was taught radical Islam in Christchurch, where he also met Mr Jones.
Christopher Havard was killed alongside Mr Jones by a US drone in Yemen last year.
His parents, Neill and Bronwyn Dowrick, say their son told them he was first taught radical Islam at the Al Noor mosque in Addington.
Mr Havard moved from Australia to New Zealand in 2010. He's remembered at the mosque by the name of Saleem Khattab

These are two Al Quada killed in US Drone strikes which the US government said they where leaders. They both came from the Al Noor Mosque, Christchurch.
Normally I wouldn’t but I really thought it was fake and it looked fake. I was shocked to hear that it was the real video.
To all those who enjoy and create the all the slides (various non-Q topics such as taxes, computers, printers, animals, food, weather — and additionally the chit chat banter including congratulating each other, attempts at humor, arguing back and forth, etc., etc.).... I understand. I enjoy FR a great deal and devote some of my time to it.
That said, the length of a standard Q-thread is a barrier to staying informed for me and others. It just takes too long, even scrolling through, to find the scattered Q news and information posts and memes among 1000? comments per day.
Q is succinct in commenting, and memes as requested by Q are also succinct in conveying information. So ‘concise’ is good :-)
Our one and only Q devoted thread could be a more successful tool to inform and even persuade the many people who are reading it. I think it makes sense to do this: Pause and think a moment before posting and committing every thought that enters your mind to the permanent archive of Q information on FR.
I have a nominee for the “Unnamed Rep.”

👴 too tough competition! ...back to the refrig.
I think he’s making the point that capitalism is a term that was invented by Marx and used by communists as a pejorative to describe our system. The term that would have been used before Marx, and that would better describe it, is free market economy.
Good news... I guess. Running an opponent is not remove... remove means to remove.
I read that the NY Dems are considering redistricting AOC out of a constituency. By then she will be the DNC Chairperson. 🗿
reed13k was having a similar problem. For him, the cause was special characters that FR's Preview process turns into commands that begin with an "&" and end with a ";". FR then interprets these &-commands as HTML, which means that everything gets interpreted as HTML. Unfortunately, HTML treats end-of-line markers ("carriage returns") as spaces, so everything turns into one line.
When you preview a message that you're sending, take a look for &-commands, delete them, and hit Preview again to see if the formatting returns to normal.
One source of these "special characters" is emojis.
I turned off updates 2 or 3 years ago when they were do updates to 10. It works fine but my keyboard is about done for.
