Uhh ... is that a slogan or something?
If you can read a Balance Sheet and understand the prioritization of classes of debt and equity (i.e., capital) and the powers of corporate control of each class (of capital), then you understand that capitalism is a real thing.
I think he’s making the point that capitalism is a term that was invented by Marx and used by communists as a pejorative to describe our system. The term that would have been used before Marx, and that would better describe it, is free market economy.
No, Das Kapital is the title of a literary work, and the basis of an economic/political movement that demonizes private property ownership, entrepreneurship and freedom. But I'm sure you already knew that.
capitalism is a real thing.
Yes, it's called free enterprise. One of the basic tenets of the American dream....enjoyed by the founders, once they shook off the crown.
Economic freedom is a natural force which happens even in the most primitive cultures, where everyone has or develops a talent, or produces a product that is useful to others. (butcher, baker, candlestick maker)....until some thieving socialist comes along and screws it all up.
Marxists use the term "capitalist pigs" etc, to describe normal business people and use every trick in the book to divide them from the regular blue collar working people.
I wouldn't utilize their derogatory term any more than I would spell or pronounce a political enemy's name correctly.
(examples: Hitlary, Nazi Pelosi..."Little Adam Shitt")
